Ok - this is no Wentworth or Kennemer but it is an excellent course to play on in the Netherlands…read more Its not a typical modern course that has been squeezed onto the land that is available. It has been built on an area that is twice that normally seen. Mature trees divide much of the course so there is no real feeling of being out on a big field with loads of other golfers. Also considering this is the Netherlands, there is quite some elevation changes with, of course, lots of water.
The greens are quite fast and undulating.
There are two courses designed within the one course. A number of tees are relocated in the winter to make the BuitenBinnen (outside Inside) course, although this is normally for a short period of time. The standard configuration is the NoordZuid (North South) setup.
Excluding the grand old links clubs in the Netherlands, I would consider this as one of the best courses that I have had the pleasure to play at.
