It was brunch time, so we grabbed drinks (Aperol Spritz for me) and some light bites. There was a large group near the bar, so we grabbed a spot out on the outer dock. Loved the views! What a fun spot to take in the views & get some sun. We saw quite a few people swimming from the dock. This is a fun spot to unwind & enjoy!

This isn't the type of place we would usually eat lunch, but we were very hungry and this seemed like a safe bet. It was definitely a bit pricier than I would normally pay, but certainly worth it. My beef was cooked perfectly and the vegetable and potato sides were delicious. My wife's salad was very good as well. The strangest things about eating in Germany was the fact that they do not offer to bring you water. If you order water, it is bottled or sparkling water and is not cheap. I realize this is a cultural thing so I'm not holding it against them. Even though we did not have kids with us, I thought it was cool that they had a kids play area off to one side that was full of toys and puzzles. If I'm ever in Kiel again, I would recommend Deck 8.
