This is one of the most beautifully curated gift shops I have seen in some time!…read more It looks quite small from the front, with a fetching window display- I was drawn in by the palava dresses- because I'm obsessed! - and it spans quicly backwards, and with an upstairs to boot. Jellycat, giftwrap and cute tissue papers, homewares, gorgeous cards, gifts, clothing- I had fabulous advent candles from here too. Everything is displayed well too. Extra bonus points though to the super helpful staff, I dropped them a message on Facebook trying to track down a dress- arranged payment, and I had the politest exchange and super quick postage- I wish I lived closer to this place!
Present Days is a quirky old Georgian fronted shop situated in the centre of beautiful Warwick…read more There is not a huge amount of shops in Warwick and I have to say that this is my favouraite shop. The shop looks tiny from the outside but on entering the shop it is like an Aladins Cave and seems to go on and on. They have a great range of cards for every age range and every occasion. They also have a good range of fun books which make great gifts and secret santas. They have a really good range of gifts again for all ages. The nice thing about this shop is that there are lots of things here that you don't see on sale anywhere else and i'm sure they spend a vast amount of time sourcing the quirky, fun items here. They have gifts for all price ranges too - you can pop in and spend a couple of quid but pretty much each time I go in here I want everything and normally spend a small fortune. If you are ever in Warwick you must go into this shop as it is a great, fun shop.

Downstairs, they do a large array of home goods, lovely furniture, candle accessories and glass products. Perfect if you need that unusual piece to really accent a room. Upstairs, the theme changes, providing an extensive collection of fancy dress accessories and other weird and wonderful products that do not really fit in elsewhere. They do sell some unusual cards if you want to come away from the mainstream stores, and they also have a large selection of gadgety products, perfect if you need an unusual gift for someone hard to buy for.

Very cool shop. I was browsing windows in Warwick, always get suckered in by funny cards. Went in…read moreto check them out, they have a ton of really neat stuff. Stationary needs, some everyday items, just a nice little place to pick up a gift or locally produced art item for guests to ooh & aah over! Dig it!
Sutton Flowers
It may be over a century old, but the flowers at this pitch in the heart of the city centre are as…read morefresh as fresh can be. The blooms and bouquets from here are radiant and fragrant and always bring a smile to my face on even the gloomiest of Brummie days. This is an ideas stall. This place invents lovely combinations of flowers to give as gifts, and seems to change the bouquets designs daily - just to keep things as fresh as its flowers. However, it also does the classics perfectly. How many Brummies have heard the words 'I love you' accompanied by a Sutton Flower's single red rose? At certain times of the year things become a little different. Easter sees blooms that reflect the festivities, and at Christmas it's also possible to get gifts, cards and wrapping paper. I like to visit just after work, when Birmingham is winding down after a long day. This is when there are bargains to be had, as Sutton Flowers sells off the day's stock ready to start afresh the next day. Put simply, Sutton Flowers is a little ray of sunshine in a busy corner of Brum.
