By September 5th, my divorce was finalized. I loved working with Laura Castro and Pat Cruz. Both ladies were an absolute joy to work with. At the very beginning, Laura told me what I could expect and she always kept me updated with my case. I didn't even have to reach out to request a status. Thank you very much for helping me. I will definitely recommend them should any of my friends need a lawyer.

Do NOT use this law firm. I was recently divorced. My husband put out an emergency protective order…read moreagainst me. During the final signing of the decree, 2 dates were discussed as to when I could go to my home to retrieve my items. Unbeknownst to me, they were not listed on the divorce decree. When I arrived at my home, I was as arrested for violating the emergency protective order. The only thing Lisa could say was "sorry"! In the decree, I was awarded the car. During the final signing, I had to sign a power of attorney for my ex husband's truck and he was to sign a POA awarding me the car. Two months later and I still haven't received the POA! I asked Lisa and she told me to go to my ex's attorney and ask him. In the final signing, a verbal agreement was made that my ex would have our home on the market by the 20th of January. Two months later and the home isnt on the market. I had no idea that Lisa did put the date in the decree. I'm currently stuck with a $6,000 bill and a criminal record and I never stepped foot in front of the judge. SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY. I am in the process of filing a grievance against this law firm with the bar association.

I feel confident that my legal dollars will be spent in an ethical manner and that Sonja can stand toe to toe with courtroom bullies and put them in their place with class and dignity. It is clear that she puts the best interests of children first, as any family court professional should. If you go with another attorney, you will regret it. I wish I had found her two years ago.

Honestly the worst law firm I've ever seen. Used them off a recommendation from some one I later…read morefound out never used them. They were handling my wife's immigration and started by telling us how horrible a position we were in, scaring us, and raising their prices. They almost missed our filling date out of sheer incompetence. Me and my wife did all the firm's ourselves. They charged 2500 just to mail it. After the filing they were mia. We asked for consolation to know what to expect in our immigration interview and they flat out stated "we have no idea what they'll ask" which tells me they've never done this before. When we asked for any help they said they "have no idea how that whole process works". Worst law firm ever. Sheer incompetence.

After researching various attorneys online (and speaking with a few), I have found that Ms. Wincott proved to be the most open and honest. When other attorneys were trying to tangle the family up in a myriad of complicated and unnecessary steps, Ms. Wincott advised of the most direct (and most cost-effective) route that allowed us to get the results that we needed. In addition, I was so impressed by the fact that she took the time to listen to the needs of the family and to even take a moment to listen to my tear-ridden grief. Indeed, Ms. Wincott is not only a well-informed, top-notch attorney, she is also someone who clearly cares about her clients.
