    Original and Turkish coffee
    Phylicia H.

Picked up lunch for the first time with my mom and was very excited to finally check this place out. I've only heard wonderful things. We ordered 2 combos. One combo with salad, regular fries and Turkish coffee milkshake. The other with salad, shawarma fries and the original milkshake. The milkshakes were amazing! So creamy, rich and delicious. The fact it was vegan made me feel a bit better. Turkish was better than the original. Both fries were also tasty and I enjoyed the ketchup that it came with. The salad....we asked for dressing on the side and they forgot to give it to us. We didn't check the bag before we left and so upset they had forgotten to give it to us. They made our milkshakes immediately but wouldn't hand it to us until the entire combo meal was ready. Both milkshakes were sitting out for a solid 10 minutes. It thankfully didn't melt, but I don't understand why they made it first if they couldn't give it to us? The biggest complaint minus forgetting our dressing and the milkshake being left out was the 10% service charge. I read another review mentioning it and it is ridiculous. All orders whether you eat there or not is packaged to go so I don't understand how 10% is allowed. 2 salad combos with milkshakes cost exactly $50.90..... I'm on the fence whether I would come back or not. Milkshakes were absolutely amazing, falafel was good, salad was okay since I had no dressing and fries were good but the price I paid for lunch is a bit steep!!

Goldie on its own is absolutely a five-star restaurant. However, the Goldie WITHIN this Whole Foods is the worst possible one you could go to. For $8, I got a TINY tehina shake. This shake is basically half the size of a regular Goldie shake. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 minutes to a decent Goldie.

My first time trying a tehina shake. It was strange at first but the taste grew on me the more I drank it. The sesame seed taste reminded me of sunflower seed taste.

A friend and I stopped by Whole Foods to grab a snack from Goldie after visiting a nearby museum. We tried the classic hummus, which comes with a seasonal salad and one pita, and the Turkish coffee tehina shake. The hummus was great - smooth and very heavy on tahini (my favorite), and the tehina shake was delicious (the hazelnut halva was a great touch on top). It was a great snack. I'd return if I was near another location in the future.

Solid as always! I've been to the Center City location and was on this side of town so it's access on the second floor of Whole Foods was clutch. The menu is basically the same as the original location - simple and completely vegan. It was a busy afternoon so there was a bit of a line before I could place my order. The process is fairly simple, and once order is in place, you wait for the attendants to call your name for pick up or eat in. I ordered the combo - Turkish shake, falafel salad, and shawarma fries - all for $15 - not a bad deal! I found the salad fresh and fulfilling. The lemon dressing adds the right amount of acid to the greens and falafel. The Turkish shake, as always, was solid - so good (even if not exactly good for you haha), and the fries were fresh from the fryer seasoned just right with the shawarma spice! Overall - great experience and glad I was able to make it to this location and to learn it keeps to the reputation of the original location. Will definitely be back!

when looking for a good falafel takes you inside whole foods. like okay?!!! they don't just werk it diva. they serve. like alright now. fresh flavors just ready to please. love the sauce. only wish it was just a lil more substantial. still pretty hungry after the meal. maybe I'll try the hummus next time. see if they can earn extra points for a double slay

This Goldie is conveniently located within Whole Foods, and the Whole Foods has plenty of indoor seating available! The salad is loaded with beets, falafel, sunflower seeds, an Israeli pickle, and greens. Lots of great flavors here! The mint chocolate tahini shake had bits of chocolate chips in it for texture, and they drew a cute flower on top with chocolate drizzle. A little small for $6, but overall, it was good! They don't give a lot of dressing, so you'll have to pay for more if you like a lot.

Falafel Sandwich with Schug tahini sauce

If you want falafels in Philadelphia, you have to come here! I've been here and to other Goldie locations in Philly and they never disappoint. If you like spicy - I'd recommend either the Harissa or the Schug (spicier in my opinion) for your Tahini sauce. Definitely try the Shawarma spice fries as well - so good!

The food is fresh and hot as they make it right in front of you. Very time I come here it is busy. They never fail to impress with great food and customer service. It's pretty expensive but would beware the seasoned fries as they can be overwhelming.

Let's start with stirfry. Unless you're desperate and there's absolutely no Chinese restaurant available there is no reason to order stir fry from this chain restaurant, that's mind-boggling how it's been successful between the small portion with mostly noodles and a taste, which I was searching to find, it is definitely one of the three worst stir fry dishes I've had in over 40 years. Aside from the above, one of the problems with both the vegetables utilized in the stir fry as well as the salads, is that for a restaurant chain, that you would assume, focuses on healthy ingredients, as opposed to other fast food chains that mostly all utilize preserves, and the dirty dozen of vegetables, 95% of the ingredients are not organic, and are known vegetables high in pesticides and other carcinogens- simply look at the very resourceful website ewg.org, which will greatly benefit your health, as well as anyone that you care about. If the ingredients utilized by Honeygrow were organic, and did not include anything toxins, and there was an assurance of no preservatives, I could try to substantiate quality over quantity, but, still compromise taste. But, that doesn't apply here. The salad, can include organic spinach, if that's what you choose as your base. For the rest of the ingredients, I will went with safest (aside from carrots) choosing the edamame, snow peas, chickpeas, Mediterranean herbs, along with the grilled chicken. As the order was delivery, I can't comment on the casual ambiance. Honeygrow does have items, very limited, to accommodate people with gluten allergies. Otherwise, if someone were to suggest ordering from Honeygrow again, my answer will simply be, "honey no!"

The cauliflower is cooked so well... it has a nice bite to it without being a raw crunch. I've also tried all of the other seasonal plates over the summer and early fall. Sweetgreen always adds several new feature items to its array of options each season. We get to experience items like mozzarella balls, heirloom tomatoes, maple glazed brussel sprouts, jammy tomatoes, and more all for a reasonable price. The beautiful thing is the total transparency of the price right on the app. As you build your salad or bowl, your final price is updated continuously. The app is great! My favorite meat protein is the roasted chicken. It is done REALLY WELL. Like... they deserve a prize of some kind for the chicken... at least for the Sweetgreen on 18th and Chestnut. I'm not as fond of the salmon or the garlic steak, but your mileage may vary. You might really like them. Every veggie is always super fresh. And service is always with a smile. Whoever is hiring the current crew is doing a great job because the food is always prepared really well and the servers are always really nice. Thank you, Sweetgreen, for your continued excellence!

The grainy and grassy are not flavors or components I desire in a meal especially as the star. My fiancée was craving Sweetgreen so I saught out the item that I "could" enjoy most. Hot honey chicken bowl. Remove the sweet potatoes, swap the quinoa for a rice, and give me somethings that would provide different compliment for this bowl and it'd be a rockstar. For now, its fine. It's manageable but not cravable. It's an oddity on a menu that isn't tailored to my taste buds. So for that, its a win - not an amazing one but a serviceable one.
