Chris is an amazing guy! We went in for one of my friends haircuts, because he hadn't gotten a haircut in a while. So I call Chris on the phone, and I asked how much for a haircut? Chris said that Monday through Thursday he does $10 haircuts, and then $30 on the weekends. I thought this was an amazing deal that I had to take an opportunity to try out. So my friend who is a guy got his haircut, and both of me and my girlfriend are waiting there and we're watching him get A haircut. My guy friends haircut turned out so good, and it was exactly what he wanted. If not more than what he wanted. I really enjoyed the service that I received here, because first of all right off the bat... I called him and he answered the phone he told me how much it was, and then when I first got to the salon I didn't know where his studio was. So I called him again, and he told me exactly where it was. So it was really easy for me to find it, once I called Chris. Someone who can answer the phone and give good directions straight off the top, that is some service that I appreciate. Because some businesses these days are so hard to find, and then when they give you directions it's really not that specific. Anyways so my friend gets a haircut, and it's really good. My friend really liked it, and so both me and my girlfriend were like okay we should get a haircut too. For $10, getting a haircut is a great deal! So my other girlfriend, she has really really long thin hair, and she just wanted a trim. Chris trimmed off about three or 4 inches off of her hair. She really liked the end result, and would definitely go back again. I also believe that she recommended it to one of our friends. The reason why I give Chris and golden creations five stars, is because of the service that I received from Chris. Chris is super down to earth, super chill, laid-back, and overall just a cool guy. He talked a lot about astrology, and was very knowledgeable about that. Which is really an interesting subject to talk about when you're there for a while. Overall Chris it's just a really cool guy, and he knows how to cut hair while. Chris mentioned that in the upcoming months, he's going to start doing color with Hair. Chris mentioned that he had over 20 years of experience cutting men's hair, and 16 years of cutting women's hair. The way that that experience showed was in his techniques that he used, his communication, and his knowledge about products and what not. If you want to go here to get a haircut from a great guy, I would definitely recommend this place. Chris really knows what he's doing when it comes to Hair. Overall I had just a great experience with golden creations, and getting my haircut here too. I would definitely recommend Chris to any of my friends or even family in this area. I was very lucky to find Chris at Golden Creations inside of Phenix Salons. He is warm and very friendly and knew exactly what I wanted even though I was very vague on the details. I have extremely tight curls mixed with Afro textured hair and a lot of straight pieces. It grows very quickly and almost straight on the sides and in the back. He gave me a taper and later on I noticed his guide lines on the back of my head. I didn't get what I paid for.
