Her inability to provide helpful guidance during our Court-ordered co-parenting counseling sessions was as disappointing as her indifference to her Court-ordered responsibility to refer another counselor in the event she could not continue in that role. When she came into my life by chance on a random encounter; I was not searching for a life coach and certainly didn't think I needed one until we started chatting. That's all she wrote for me! I was Wowed by how easy Lesa was to talk to and how when I spoke I knew she was listening to me with her whole heart and mind. I feel like Lesa brings a really unique aspect to this whole Life Coaching thing. She's definitely doesn't make our meetings feel like a therapy session or a dreaded appointment to talk about stuff. She's full of love, spunk, light, great listener and a strategic planner that has helped guide and assist me in tackling some of the issues I was having in an efficient and conscious manner. She also doesn't always tell me what I want to hear lol and I'm the kind of person that needs to hear the truth sometimes as I've been stuck in my old ways for a while and in my all too comfortable comfort zones She's helped me establish some much needed boundaries and has helped me plan for a better future in all aspects of my life. The space has a cool, modern vibe without feeling over-the-top -- it's stylish but still comfortable. It doesn't feel like one of those loud, chaotic salons where you're just another appointment on the schedule. What stood out immediately was how intentional everything felt. Instead of jumping straight into the service, we actually had a real conversation about what I liked, what I didn't like about my current look, and what would realistically work for me day-to-day. I appreciated that honesty. I wasn't sold a dramatic change just for the sake of it -- the suggestions were practical and thoughtful. During the appointment, there was serious attention to detail. No rushing. No distracted energy. You can tell there's experience behind the chair. The final result looked polished but still natural -- like the best version of my hair, not something that felt forced or trendy for the sake of trendiness. What I liked most was walking out feeling confident, not just "freshly styled." There's a difference. The cut grew out well, the styling tips were actually useful, and I didn't feel pressured into buying products I didn't need. If you're looking for a place that blends skill with a relaxed, confident atmosphere -- not overly salesy, not overly dramatic -- this is it. I'll definitely be back.

She coaches people on the dos and don'ts for starting a business. She coaches you on how to balance home and work life as well as how to manage your company. I believe that she is helping her community because she is giving them the tools that she has in order for others to be able to live the life that they wish to live. She is also taking the time to help minorities, both people of color and women, get access to skills and resources that aren't as easy to access for someone who has little to no access to these resources. Being a person who falls in both minority classes woman and African American and someone who wants to start a company this service is very helpful. Instead of having to search and search for what to do, how to do it, where to get forms, where to file forms, Ms. Thomas walks you through how to do all these things. She even coaches you on how to get financing, grants, support, how to get investors and how to network. Doing this helps her community by affording them of chances and opportunities otherwise not afforded to them. With the recent Covid-19 pandemic many people lost their jobs. This gave people the chance to start fresh with new business ventures and career opportunities to start their own businesses. Ms. Thomas helps with these things. She does virtual coaching session and walks you through how to fill out the forms for starting a new business, where to file them, how to obtain a dba, how to open a business account and so much more. Helping under privileged people get a leg up in this now disastrous economy makes the difference between being able to pay one's rent or having enough money to make groceries to feed your family. Helping people begin a new career is a life changing experience that some will never get the opportunity to have. Not because they didn't want to but because they didn't have the tools to get started. Some also will never last longer than a few years if that. But having someone to take the time to work with you and to cultivate the craft that you choose to pursue it is truly a life changing experience. Even if you fail it could never be said that there wasn't anyone out there to help make your dream possible or to help you get started. We see now that there are more and more small businesses that are popping up, from food trucks to fashion retail to being overnight tik tok superstars. It's nice to have someone help those who don't have the skills and savvy ways to get started.
