First, let me say I've been buying jewelry here for years. But, this time was the last time. I took my beautiful Amethyst bracelet to them for a add a safety chain. They had done one for me before so I was sure they could do another great job. Little did I know they were going to ruin my bracelet. Instead of calling me and asking me if they could drill holes into the Sterling Silver bracelet, to which the answer would have been NO, they just did it, ruing the shank. They removed the two extender rings to use for the safety chain meaning I could no longer wear the bracelet. The extender rings were soldered on and made the bracelet the perfect length. Instead of cutting the rings they actually cut the bracelet and soldered it back flat. So, the end was no longer rounded. When I tried to put the bracelet on, which has never been an issue, I could not get it on because it was way to short and way to tight. The woman there tried to help me fasten it. Unfortunately, her EXCESSIVELY long nail prevented her from doing anything. She repeated numerous times that she couldn't get it on. If you want to follow a trend, great for you. When it keeps you from doing your job, it has to go. While I was arguing with her she offered to put two rings on. But, since it was obvious she wasn't going to be able to do it with those mile long nails and the woman where with her was no help, trying to ignore what was going on. I declined. Besides, I didn't want some cheap metal rings on my Sterling Silver. About this time, another customer walked in and she decided that I was no longer worth helping and there was no longer anything she could do or suggest and decided to ignore me. I've taken the bracelet to a couple of jewelers, who actually do their repairs in their stores instead of sending them out, and they agree the bracelet is ruined. The shank is compromised and not worth saving. They were mortified and wanted to know who would do something like this? This is not the way to put a safety chain on and they have ruined and compromised the shank. I'm going to be taking the bracelet to the Jew and Gem show to see if I can get the stones put into a new setting. I am going to take the bill to Gold Italia. read more

I had such a pleasant experience with Karina and the other female sales associate that assisted me. I can't get over the difference working with kind, honest professionals makes. I had a great time at this store and was able to get the items I wanted for reasonable prices. I started by sending an email to this business inquiring about a specific piece of jewelry I was searching for. Karina promptly emailed me back soon after the store opened and gave me accurate information while also providing great customer care! I told Karina I wanted to shop local instead of purchasing online and she notified me they had what I was looking for! I arrived at the store and began looking around as Karina was helping other customers. We all had fun chatting (socially distanced with masks) and looking at jewelry. As Karina helped the other customers, another associate came out to assist me. It was such a nice, intimate experience and all customers in the store received individualized care. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!!!!- I don't know what Emma from PV is talking about; about two years ago I bought a beautiful pair of 1 carat diamond / 18 karat white gold earrings for my girlfriend at a remarkable price! Smaller earrings at other jewelry stores in the South Bay area cost almost twice as much and the craftsmanship was not even close to the quality of Gold Italia's. My girlfriend loved the earrings so much she has not taken them off since I gave them to her! Since I gave her the earrings I went back this month for her birthday to buy her the matching 1 carat diamond / 18 karat white gold necklace which she LOVED!!! While inside the store, the nice girl working did not rush me or make me feel pressured into buying either the earrings or the necklace, in fact both times I was there she took time to educate me on the type, style, cut, color, and clarity of the diamonds and she was very professional. To elaborate further on the level of professionalism of Gold Italia's employees I overheard another employee assisting some other guy who was shopping for an engagement ring, he had a particular ring in mind that he really liked which he saw at another jewelry store, the Gold Italia employee did not try to show / pressure him into seeing any more rings and told him that he should get what he liked elsewhere because it was what he really liked! Ken at Gold Italia was awesome. It was so easy to compare apples to apples. Not only did I get the perfect rock but my gf has very specific style and I told Ken exactly what I wanted it to look like. We designed it together and he custom made the setting. My girlfriend loved it but the chain was a little long. I brought it to Ken and he shortened the chain. I needed a gold chain repaired and I was glad I remembered about this place. I was worried about paying too much in the mall, but since I go there a lot I went in to get a price. The reason they stood out in my mind is because of how nicely they treated me several years ago when I went to ask about selling some gold jewelry, and also because when I walk by their store they always smile and say hello to me but never try to sell me anything like a lot of other jewelry stores. Anyway, the price was right so I left the chain and it was ready just 4 days later! I just picked up my chain today and I am very happy. I also like how the man complimented the chain instead of telling me that it was crap so I would buy a new one. (I've even had jewelers do that when I bought the jewelry from them!!!)
