This place is clean, well maintained, and publicly accessible to the community. Parking is free if you can find a parking spot along the streets that parallel the beachfront. The lifeguards who are stationed there move their tents nasrd on the rip tide currents while maintaining a lookout for trouble in the water and also beachside. There are strict rules with dogs on the beach and I didn't see one piece of garbage while walking Surfside during my time here. read more

You pay a little more here, but it is upper end shopping.... Not Kmart or Big W.
