Pfffftttt. Not happy Jan and that's without all the offensive words I want to say. In fairness the majority of the few times I have used the service the drivers have been polite and gotten me to my destination on time. Today a simple trip to Nerang st Southport went this way. I order a cab 45 minutes before my appointment. The driver took over half an hour to arrive because he could not find my address. Then he complained at not being able to find the address all the way til he dropped me at NERANG TRAIN STATION. I then took another cab back with another driver that dropped me at Southport light rail station so I had to catch the light rail back to Nerang street. I was one hour late for my appointment and it cost me 4 times what it should have. Back in August of last year when I was in Surfer's on business I asked clearly for a driver to take me to North Surfers Paradise light rail and he dropped me at Cypress Avenue and it was late and I was half p*ssed so y'know. These guys clearly understand English so wth is going on!? Unless it's the shuttle bus from the airport I'm inclined to use Uber from now on.
Update: I contacted them about my experience the following day and they said that would get back to me in two hours. SPOILER: They did not. I have not been well this week and I didn't need to be screwed around like this. I am using Uber exclusively from now on as there are no other companies on the Gold Coast.
