The hostel was beautiful, neither too big nor too small. The kitchen facilities were very nice and well kept. The only aggravating thing was that the internet worked only on computers, cell phones had a terrible time accessing the wireless. Over all a wonderful experience. I was sad to leave. ======= Un albergue maravilloso en el corazón peatonal de San Sebastián. El director de la residencia, Tobe, fue muy útil para situar a los clientes y ayudarles a encontrarse alrededor de la ciudad. El albergue era hermosa, ni demasiado grande ni demasiado pequeño. Las instalaciones de la cocina era muy agradable y bien cuidado. Lo único agravante es que Internet funcionaba sólo en las computadoras, los teléfonos celulares pasó muy mal acceso a la red inalámbrica. Por encima de todo una experiencia maravillosa. Yo estaba triste por dejar.

I was amazed! The front desk staff speak a variety of languages, fluently. They are friendly and professional. All rooms are accessible by stairs or elevator. All rooms have 2 bunk beds with USB connections near the bed with electrical connections as well. WIFI is superb! All rooms have air conditioners as well as a secure door that goes to the balcony. The door can either be opened for entrance/exit to the private balcony or locked and only the top of the door opens for air circulation. Linens and towels can be exchanged daily, if you wish. The WC/shower is SO CLEAN and well lit! Hot water is plentiful. The restaurant serves meals all day and into the night with alcohol available. The prices are well below the value. You are a 10 minute walk to the #13 bus stop that will take you to the tourist area, in only 15-20 minutes. The price for the room was noticeably lower than any other hotel and was better than most. You must stop here! A wonderful experience.

The hostel has a security code out in the front and an elevator (HALLELUJAH). There's free computers to use, a nice little living room and a kitchen for you to utilize. They also provide rental surf boards and body boards, which is super nice! The free breakfast is pretty poor..but hey I shouldn't complain, its free. It consisted of milk and corn flakes, packaged mini croissants and muffins, toast and some spread. I would highly recommend just going to the bakery next door - BEST pastry shop in town!! The rooms were decent, and the restrooms were clean most of the time. Some of the showers didn't have hot water, so I would check before I hop in. My only 2 annoyances with the hostel was first, the map on Hostelworld.com was wrong. It took me 1/2 hour to realize that and it took me on a irritable journey around the Old Town with all my heavy luggage. I think the map was of their other hostel.. Second annoyance was the extremely long lines at the front desk. I think they should have 2 staff personnel there when it gets busy. Some people waiting in line just have simple questions and it's annoying to wait so long to get a simple answer!
