Ok range. Price is a little too high for a 25m range. Ammo prices are definitely cheaper down the street too.

Never been here before and inquired about usage and everything. I asked several questions about everything and the first time I went I was not too thrilled. I asked numerous questions about the range from a lady who seemed nice but was very passive on providing information. She was always on her cellphone, both visits which is offputting when trying to communicate with someone. I gave it a 4 star because after a lot of research and inquiry with friends that are gun owners, they said that the usage fees are on the high side. But business is business I suppose. I went back the other day and was greeted by an older bald gentleman and he was 100%. He answered all questions, provided a lot of information and made sure my experience was great. He was very professional, courteous which made the experience pleasant and will definitely return. As for the tactical side...they have a fair amount of items, primarily clothing accessories and add-ons. They had a small selection of various firearms. I'm not sure how tactical stores or gunshops actually work but I believe that if you are looking for something specific that they could get it for you. On two separate ocassions in 2 different stores I asked for certain items and they said we dont have that size or kind and I asked if they could get it and they said no without any follow on information or assistance...just a No. How does a gun store not be able to get gun accessories? Again, I dont know how that works so I ended up having to buy everything online. I read the other reviews and I always check to see the legitimacy of other comments and I can say, yes, it would be frustrating for a first time gun owner or someone less knowledgable, as for experienced people...this place should not be an issue. I always enjoy my time at Godrey's. The staff is courteous and expeditious. The range master is vigilant with keeping everyone safe, and diligent at clearing brass. It's so nice not to be slipping around on spent brass or kicking it out from under foot. It's always ship shape in the store and on the range. read more

Haven't been here in a little over a year. Was pleased with the staff and experience last time. I looked at the hours online for Sunday and it stated they were open until 8PM. Drove all the way from Manhattan to find it was closed despite the hours on the door stating they were open as well. read more

If there were a half star that's what my rating would be. I went shooting 17 October with my husband and his best friend. I used eyepros provided by Godfreys staff. I wore proper clothing as well as gloves. I'm very comfortable using my .45 cal pistol. The tiny booths Godfreys has for there customers (I consider us regulars we've been going for 1yr) aren't always comforting for a successful range day. A casing got stuck next to my eyeball and burned me so good that i ended up in the ER. WE WILL NO LONGER USE GODFREYS RANGE. P.S.: I had to ask for the 1st aid kit and was given a box of band aids read more

Godfreys was a pretty good experience. I took the wife there for a date. We brought my pistol but they have everything you would need to shoot all you have to do is show up. The staff was really friendly. My only complaint is the ammo they provide really sucks; had several malfunctions using their ammo. After switching to mine that I brought, shot fine. Overall great place...bring your own ammo! read more

I had never gone there before today. I've never been to any indoor shooting range before. I went there today to shoot my pistol to get ready for a qualification range that I have to go to later this week. I wasn't told which lane to go on, so I just picked one (I've never been anywhere where you get assigned a lane). I shot one box before another group came in. I started to hear them talking about which lanes they should go to while I was reloading... Apparently I was on one of the lanes they were "assigned". I don't understand what the big deal was, there were plenty of open lanes, but they made me move. Even after I moved the range safety guy kept apologizing to them and it was really distracting and annoying so I just left. I had only planned on shooting another 50 rounds and would have been done in 10 minutes. There were plenty of open lanes, there was no reason to make me move, and the range safety guy kept making comments about how it was my fault that I was on the wrong lane. I may have inconvenienced the other group for less than 5 minutes (still not sure how it is an inconvenience when other lanes are open). This place sucks, the staff is rude and acts like everyone should know exactly how things work there, even if you are by yourself and it is your first time. The good news is that my aim was pretty much dead on for the rounds that I did get to shoot! read more

First gun range I have ever been too. For the price it's great! Everything adds up at the end, but it's well worth it if you have the money! To get around the expense, you should bring your own firearms, ammunition, and eye/ear pro. Standards Targets are only a $1 so that's a plus. But you can always bring your own. For 1 lane, it's $10 and hour. Love this place! Also the staff is very nice and knowledgable! So if it's your first time to go shooting, I would suggest that you go here to Godfrey's! read more

My wife and I decided to go shoot as part of our lunch date and to use a punch card that we had won at a silent auction that entitles us to several one-hour sessions. We were both excited about getting some relaxed range time. First, the guy that "greeted" us at the counter was not friendly at all and looked bothered to have to deal with people. Ok, no big deal, maybe he's just having a bad morning. We head to lane 8 and are the only ones in the range. A few minutes later a gentleman joins us on lane 10. No big deal. After about 30 minutes into our hour of shooting time, a guy comes in with a rather large case and gets on lane 7 right next to us. He readies his AR and rattles off a couple of shots of 5.56. The enjoyment is now gone. The noise and vibration from this beast next to us is horrible. Another couple enters the range and takes lane 4 or 5. Based upon the basic instructions the man was giving the lady, she was brand new to shooting. They left after 10-15 minutes because the ruckus caused by the AR was getting her nerves, too. After shooting a couple more magazines, we left. That was 45 minutes into what was supposed to be an hour. I heard the other couple tell a different (and slightly friendlier) worker why they were leaving and added our reasons for leaving as well. It was an awful experience that was pretty much a repeat of our last visit months ago. We had hoped it would be better this time. I really don't understand why they don't put customers with more powerful rounds like that at one end and try to make it a more enjoyable experience for all. Also, smiles and courtesy from the staff would go a long way. read more

They nickel and dime you for absolutely everything...be prepared to drop some serious cash if you go to this establishment

My wife and I go to the range every couple of weeks, just to punch holes in paper. We love it there. We both have our own guns and ammo so I cannot address the rentals or store ammo. But we really like the people that work there. The safety officer is alert but stays out of your way, he is also willing to answer questions if asked. He spent a lot of time with my wife helping her understand her Bersa. I know I will probably spell the names wrong but Morrey is the safety officer on Tue /Thursday. And the lady at the front desk is Taniesha. (?) She is always quick to welcome us and check us out. She asks about my wife is she is not able to come with me. Just a really friendly place to go. Since we shoot pistols there is no problem with lighting. It can get warm in the afternoon in summer and wearing shorts is a bad idea with hot brass flying around! LOL Highly recommend the range and looking forward to the new shop they are working on. Take advantage of the punch cards! They are a great deal! read more

I took my AR to zero it and just fire some rounds down range. They provided a rifle support free of charge. I brought my own zero target. The only negative thing I can say is the lighting in the range needs to be worked on. To me it was like trying to fire at dusk. We did the archery for an hour and 15 mins, but we were charged 2 hrs, which doubled our total. They charge 10 dollars per person per bow. Which makes its 20 and hours. So the price is very unclear from the beginning. The employee didn't even know the price. I Rather buy my own bow and arrows and shoot in the back yard. What a ripe off. read more
