First time ever here because the normal recycle center I go to is apparently closed for good and shout out to the front guy who was working the computer! He was friendly and SUPER FAST and efficient, I've been to other places where the people are rude and act like your bothering them. This business will recycle almost anything except literal trash and rubber. That being said they short you on pretty much everything when weighed and you'll never get the true price for most recycled materials except cans. I brought in 4 solid body cast aluminum rims and they priced them as "Contaminated Aluminum" only worth 1/8th the price because they had some grease and a bearing shell on each mounting hole. Person weighing the rims threw them INTO THE NON-CONTAMINATED bin for aluminum. WTF? Brought a whole roll of copper wire. Contaminated. 3 electric motors from lemon tools? Literally brand new motors that were stripped down. "Contaminated" The only thing you can get an honest price for is Plastic, Aluminum and Glass bottles and you might as well NOT drain every single one because they will shave about 40 cans off the total. Employees are incredibly rude. If you ask them a question (if you can even find anyone after standing around ~10 minutes) and the 3 times I had questions they answered them rhetorically like I was retarded or deaf. This place gets 1 fat lame star, I don't think they deserve 0 since they always have $$$ and they are always taking junk. Getting your bottles exchanged is the fastest here. Just throw them in plastic bin and slide them up to be weighed. But that's only a pro because you want to gtfo of here as quickly as possible. read more

They cheat and don't give you the right amount. $8 total for 16 lbs. of cans when the rate is $1.65 is stealing. Shame on you for trying to cheat a senior citizen stay away from places where they cannot be honest. read more

CROOKS ! Got only 2 bucks never got an amount as low as this. Shitty attitude and this business should be shut down for ripping off citizens. First the ticket was showing $21 then it turns into $2! Have always used this recycler other times and have paid attention to the wait. This time caught Edward cheating on the weight. Please be aware when recycling at Go Green in Apple Valley you are probably not getting proper accounting for your recycling material. I am mainly directing my comment to the weighmaster at Go Green. For the last 2 months I have been taking large quanties of 5052 aircraft grade honeycomb aluminum to Go Green. Each time the weighmaster uses 95# tare weight for each load. The problem is the pallet which the recycle material is placed on for weighing is approximately 50#. This is approximately 45# more tare than the pallet actually weighs. At $.35 a pound at 11 trips that amounts to approximately $185 I am being shorted. So my suggestion to anyone recycling large quanties of materials which are placed on pallet to be weighed, you are probably being shorted! Check the pallet weight before unloading. Today after unloading 400#s of material, the weighmaster refused to pay me after I questioned him about the tare! He told me to reload the material, so I did and left. So folks, beware of this unscrupulous weighmaster. read more

The guy taking the materials doesn't speak english. And actually i'm not sure he speaks at all, he just kind of mumbles and waves his hands around. Dropped a cast iron bathtub for recycling, grunt guy disappears, walk into the office and the employee curtly shrieked "YOU CANT BE IN HERE!!" Well then my dear where the hell am i supposed to go. warning they are crooks i busted the girl stepping on the scale the customer behind me witnessed it also after she moved my items off the scale she stepped on it went to 15lbs i watch it on the wall it was - deducted as a tare weight my total weight 49lbs - there 2 containers 10lbs & 12lbs then she stepped on it -15lbs that was a (-37lb tare from my gross weight of 49lbs net 12lbs they are crooks they are crooks you want get ripped off go to them read more
