The store is beautiful, just the right size, and contains the most impressive variety of candy I've seen in one place! I'm a sucker for anything not mass-produced. You can tell the owners make everything here with love. We took with us, and later sampled, a bit at a time: the dark chocolate and milk chocolate salted caramels, the rock candy, dipped oreos, (OMG) the jaw breakers, lego-style sweet tarts, and the taffy. WOW! All of it was great, according to my candy connoisseur-kids, and me, of course! The person working at the time was lovely and talkative, and she conversed with my husband about the nuances of a small town, while I browsed, tempted by most everything I saw. My one regret is that we didn't take more with us to add to our stash! Check this place out and support the best small town, small business that I've ever had the pleasure to stumble across. Your sweet tooth will thank you!

Their every day prices are typically a little higher than Walmart but their deals are great and are usually much cheaper than Walmart. And I must say that their produce department looks appealing which sometimes makes me want more than I came for. The pharmacy has a blood pressure machine which is great for the people dealing with issues that need one but don't want to go pay a doctor for. One of my favorite things about this Smiths are the smaller lines. I have been here many times when it was very busy but they always seem to have enough cashiers. And additionally during these busy times there is a person standing in the checkout area that directs people to shorter or open lines. Thats great customer service. Baggers have always been friendly. A few times I have seen cashiers talking with frequent customers like family. I love that. Gives me that small town feel. Today I saw a young gal pushing a long line of carts that she was having a hard time with but she was all smiles. All I can say is I enjoy shopping here and have never had regret. Keep it up! Here's an update. We called the bakery a few days ago to get 3 dozen donuts made for my sons class for his birthday. The donuts were ready at the time we needed them and they looked great.
