Scan centers in or nearby hospitals tend to be the most expensive and have cramped parking. That's where John's creek MRI comes in... This is a highly professional office from the front desk to the staff in back. Their appointments are set up through a centralized phone number and then the office staff will contact you if any issues arise before you appointment (issues meaning: your health insurance policy is giving them/you problems, that is sure to happen, but they work with you efficiently to handle the issues.) I was particularly impressed with how organized and hard-working the front office staff was... They were ready to answer any question and gave great customer service. My experience has been the opposite in many other places. A nice addition to the MRI scan room is the offer of headphones while you are trapped in the MRI machine. Those machines are exceptionally loud and the headphones are a great way to help drown out that noise. Just be sure to have a radio station in mind when they ask you what you would like to listen to ... (I sort of froze up because I think most Atlanta-based radio stations are total crap nowadays.) They have limited evening and weekend appointments if you wish. There is ample free parking in their private lot so you won't have to pay for the typical parking garage near a hospital. Good luck!

It pushed me to look for a place offering the same service for a much lower price. The staff is wonderful and I was accommodated immediately when I called. Please take a look at US Medical Imaging for all of your needs and if they can't perform a certain procedure, they will find someone to take care of your needs. I'm not even sure what it showed. After numerous tries I just get a runaround. I've gotten either erroneous information or outright lies from them. I do not recognize nor recommend the Emory Buford radiation clinic.

I had surgery had neck surgery here in January 2025 and the overnight after care was terrible. They…read moredidn't feed me, they wouldn't get me up to walk when I asked, didn't want to hook me back up to my saline bag bc it would make me have to go to the bathroom and they didn't want to come unhook me and take me. They also threw away the blood thinner they were supposed to give me bc I asked about it and she didn't want to explain so she literally threw it away. Other issues went on too. I called after I got out to file a complaint which didn't go anywhere and 2 days after I filed the complaint I was in an accident. Went to the ER the just get checked out and they actually left the IV in my arm. Didn't notice till I got home and had to remove it. Their nursing and tech staff is less than desirable or friendly. Emergency room is a nightmare and very long wait times. I will be going to Northside from now on if at all possible.
