I've purchased tile and hardwood floors from here and their installers are professionals and will do a job that is worthy of a 500k+ home and not a job where it looks like an amateur installed it. I will qualify this though in that not all of their installers are trim people. The most recent crew did a great job with the floor and a fair job with the 1/4 round which had a lot of unsunk nails in them and large (1/8"+) gaps in the corner joints. Sure, I can fix them with 2 treatments of caulk and spending 2 hours with a nail set, but they should do better or don't offer it. With that said, they have a great selection of carpeting, tile, hardwood/laminate flooring and the service to install it all. I plan to keep them honest as I have in the past but if the future is similar to the past, these guys will win in both pricing and service. Enjoy!

Most other review are only 1 star, all with very similar complaints. I could elaborate so much more than I will here, but I will probably get the same canned response that he gives to everyone - "it was a moisture problem not due to his workmanship" or that he doesn't recall doing business with me. In our case, Sonnier not only installed the flooring but also persuaded us that we needed to have the entire substructure (floor joists) torn out of my grandmothers house and replaced. So it seems to me that in doing so, he should have ensured that his work would accommodate for any moisture and prevent any moisture issues, which we discussed at great length before he began the job. It did not! Every floorboard in the house had extreme cupping AFTER he finished the job far more severe than the 70 year old original floors had! Sonnier claimed that the cause of the cupping was all due to moisture. He did NOT allow the wood to acclimate in the house, which according to the National Wood Flooring Association says is necessary. Sonnier claimed that the cause of the cupping was all due to moisture. His treatment of us after that was VERY arrogant, rude, disrespectful and unkind. I'd also like to advise that you check courthouse records for legal filings against him. And also read more about his work and treatment of customers on Facebook. Don't go by the BBB A- rating! I believe that he has changed his business name and he is not a "BBB accredited" company. Mr. Sonnier, does this help to refresh your memory of doing business with me? Mr. Sonnier, we, as well as our attorney, Mr. Emile Joseph, did contact you, not long after the installation and we did discuss the severe cupping with you in its entirety and you denied any responsibility and showed your true nasty colors, going even as far as cussing at us and threatening us. Do you convince so many of your clients to replace all of the joists and sub-flooring in their homes that you are unable to remember this particular job? That would be cause for very serious question about your integrity! My grandmother will certainly not be contacting you. She is deceased. People, don't be fooled by Mr. Sonnier's initial charm, promises and beautiful pictures. What you see and what he promises IS NOT what you get!

The ladies in the flooring department were the most unhelpful sales people I have ever dealt with…read more The process of choosing flooring for a home can be quite overwhelming with all there is to choose from and these ladies couldn't be bothered to get out of their chairs and assist in the process. I went to another flooring company in town and was greeted by ladies who were eager to help pull samples and color options. I will never recommend anyone buy flooring from here. All other departments are fantastic except for the flooring department. It is really a shame!
