To begin with- this is the first online review I've ever written. I'm choosing to write this…read morebecause even a month later, I'm still thinking about how grateful I am for the exceptional service I received at Family Tire & Auto. Last month I was on a road trip through Appalachia when I began experiencing some issues with my car. I called ahead about an hour in advance before I got to Cleveland and asked if there was any way I could get in that afternoon to get an alignment done. After being rejected by several other tire and auto shops in SE Tennessee/SW North Carolina I was discouraged, but Family Tire and Auto was able to get me in help me. While my car was being worked on, the mechanic noticed an oil leak and was able to resolve that issue as well. If it wasn't for them I would not have been able to get to Nashville (my destination for that evening) and I would have incurred much more costly damage to my car. Additionally, its important for me to acknowledge that Family Tire & Auto represents a cornerstone of the American economy that has faded over the years and - small, local, family-owned businesses, which I encourage us all to go out of our way to support. From my phone call to the receptionist (the owners granddaughter I believe?) to my experience with the mechanics, I felt that I was treated and cared for as family- despite just being a random traveler passing through. If you are in the Cleveland area and need your car serviced, I highly recommend Family Tire & Auto.

I left my Yukon with Myron and his shop on 1/7/25 at 2 pm I picked it up at 2:15 pm on 1/8/25. Myron took me in the shop and showed me the things they had to change out from the other shop. My Yukon is performing now the way it should and I can really tell the difference. If you need transmission repairs done see Myron at MD transmission. You will like the way you are treated. I give them 5 stars but in my mind on scale of 1 to 10 they get a 10. THANK YOU MYRON.

I called the next morning at 10 o'clock and was told they were pulling it In now. My wife called me at 4 and said they still haven't called. She had to have the truck for work on that Friday so I told her to go down there and come to find out they didn't do anything to the truck. She talked to one of the mechanics and he just have her the key and said I guess you want the truck. Do not take your vehicle there if you don't have a lot of time because they lied to me about doing it.

This is a fairly good place to get a car wash- They have several options available, such as…read moreexterior wash only, interior and exterior, etc. I've had both the cheapest (about $9, exterior only) and the most expensive (interior and exterior-vacuming, wiping down the inside, etc. which was about $20, with a coupon) and both were satisfactory for the price given. Employees have been polite and friendly and wait times haven't been too bad. The interior and exterior took about 30 minutes. They have a nice inside wait area and rocking chairs if you want to wait outside. My only complaints are it's a little difficult to get into the place because of the way it's situated and the fact that you're not really sure what to do when you pull in there (not very good signage). They always seem to be busy, though, when I am there. This also seems about the only (working) place to get a car wash in the area- everywhere else I've been to is either do-it-yourself or broken. :(

This is an update.....I have come to a much much better guy for my brakes....and as he is changing…read morethe pads and rotors he even told me that the pads from these guys weren't even changed. But they sure as hell took my money, I have included of what the brake pad is that they put on 2-3 weeks ago and the car has been driven only 75 miles or less since they supposedly changed all 4 sets of pads. They are liars and rip offs....they steal from people, they got me for $230.00 to change all my pads. If you go with these guys I would seriously advise you to stay and watch their work as they are not the good honest Christians that try to portray themselves as. I rated them 1 star cause I can't put negative stars
