Hemet is a crap hole lol…read more I'm not sure how to say that nicer.... lol It's hot like Africa there. Very desert-y and dry. Lots of dirt lol The food in the city is not great. It's hard to find places that are decent/ safe to eat at. The city does offer cheap housing. You can buy a house for cheap. My friend lives there. My grandma also lives in Hemet and has for years. She loves it. I don't know why lol There's lots of drugs and crime in the city of Hemet. Be careful coming around here at night. I go to Hemet to visit my grandma, and that's about it. We usually eat at the Famer Boy's right there. That place is alright.

Women's bathroom was completely disgusting with only two available stalls and broken doors that didn't close plus no paper towels. The fields are janky with tall tufts of grass, a bunch of dirt and electrical boxes on their soccer fields. Balls don't even roll, they wonky bounce every where. Please clean this place up and take pride in your city and community!

I do not recommend this facility based on my recent experience. I registered my child for…read morebasketball in May and have yet to receive any official communication regarding start dates or program details. Despite multiple follow-up attempts, I was repeatedly told I would receive a phone call, which never came. When I called again today, June16, 2025 at 6:25 pm I spoke with someone who identified himself as Craig. He informed me that tryouts had occurred at 5pm today and suggested I go to the middle school immediately. When I asked for clarification on the location, he mumbled the school's name, making it difficult to understand. I requested an email with the details for confirmation, but he refused. I then asked to speak with someone else due to the communication issues, and he again refused. I asked if I could receive a refund due to the lack of communication and was only met with a laugh on the other end. This lack of organization, poor communication, and unprofessional response has been very disappointing. I hope future improvements are made for the sake of other families relying on your programs.

We have experienced everything from extremely poor & biased refs to score keepers ordering pizza and texting during games to the head of the facility allowing family members to score games their siblings are playing in and parent coaching which has led to the wrong team winning. It's a city league so I guess you get what you pay for but I'm going to start investing my money in a more honest, fair and professional league. Valley Wide is not teaching good sportsmanship or ethics to our kids but rather teaching them if you know the right ref & score keeper then you'll win. Very sad for the kids who deserve win and don't!

But due to work, I have only been able to take a few classes throughout the years. But I do love the variety of classes that they offer and how constant their schedule is. If you are looking for a Japanese school for your child to attend, they offer that. If you would like to just learn more about the community through the different cultural classes, just sign up for the emails and you can be alerted for upcoming classes that they offer. I've taken amigurumi (crochet), ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement), and a cooking class. All of the instructors are great and mostly volunteers. So it just shows you what a great community there is. They have festivals through the year and also help put on the West Covina Cherry Blossom Festival. They also host the West Covina obon at the center but it is organized by the Buddhist church which is based out of the community center. So there is just a lot of activities that you can get involved with.
