The manager insisted it was a seasonal issue but it was very annoying and felt extremely unsanitary to have that many bugs around my food . This is a sports bar with food. We started with the half-nacho's appy...came out quick and was OK. My first time in this place and had the meat loaf. James had the Cuban. I'll give it 3.5 starts...can I do that? The meat loaf was quite good, it comes with mashed taters & broccoli with gravy on the side. James didn't finish his cuban...he got a go box. He said it was OK. Ronnie, our server looked like he was still in HS, sporting a Mets cap. He was friendly and professional and we got good service. They tout 25 large HD TV's...I didn't count them all but that seems about right. They have a different spin on the sound to various games...you get a wireless speaker box on your table so you can hear the sound as you eat. For the few of us around here who are NOT 'skins fans and don't have Sunday ticket...this might be worth checking out on game day. The manager harassed my wife and then proceeded to humiliate her. When I tried to address the issue the manager proceeded to threaten me. We were overcharged for several drinks i never had. When asked to review the bill the manager got angry and started yelling at me. I paid the bill and now have to file a fraud complaint due to the overall incompetence and ignorance of a manager who simply was to put out to look over our bill. read more

The review is about the service, not about the food - specifically about the hosting team at 1PM on October 9, 2021. I went into Manassas Glory Days with my kids at the aforementioned mentioned time/date. There were several non-contiguous seating options in the dining room and in the bar. I dealt with two members of the hosting team - the 1st one in-audibly whispered that we would have to wait after a large party was sat - fine - but the large party was not present (as in - "not in the restaurant "). The host-whisperer then took a 4-top into the bar for seating, and was replaced at the hosting desk by an absolute clod, who offered nothing but a blank-stare when I asked for clarification about the seating delay, as I pointed to the numerous - note again - non-contiguous seats in the bar and dining room. The dead-eyed standoff with the hostess-with-the-mostest was too much for me, and took my daughters back to the car. I then called the Manassas Glory Days and let them know of the situation. The person on the phone was polite and competent, and seemed to know of the host tandem I was referring to. The person said she would reprimand the dynamic duo and make the manager aware. Good enough I guess, but I wont ever be back. We do visit Glory Days about 20 times a year (mostly in Centreville) - so i guess we are giving BW3 a try. This evening I placed an order for delivery, and like at least 8 times in the past when ordering the salmon they forget to include the dressing. Previously we would order the salmon plank entree and they ALWAYS forgot the aioli, so it was eaten dry. Today I ordered the salmon BLT salad and there was no salad dressing. So I ate it dry. I'm going to continue ordering a salmon dish when I'm in the mood for it because I want the opportunity to add to Yelp. Oh, never has a manager offered to make it good. Wanted to search for a nice go-to bar with a friendly bartender and I think I found the one! Patrick took such good care of me and my boyfriend, we're quite the drinkers so we like to sit at the bar and he was very attentive and friendly. He took and made our drink orders right away and made sure we had everything we needed. The nachos were huge and a perfect finger food for the drinks as well as the wings. Patrick even went as far as to ask if we had proper transportation as we were leaving! Went hear last nite to celebrate my son 13th bday. Shout out to him! We had a party of 12 and was seated immediately! Great host at the front who opened up the door for all of us. He was very patience about us changing our mind of where we wanted to sit. (Sorry) We had Dominic as our waiter and when I say he took care of us(he did his thang!) The manager was also helpful in ensuring us if we needed anything she was there to help. Great job! Big kudos for her. The ribs were off the chain came out hot and ready to eat. Wednesdays are Wing Night. I believe they are $0.45 or $0.49 per wing. the more you buy the cheaper it is. The wing deal is DINE-IN only. What I would do is go with friends.. order 50 wings for myself.. eat about 20.. take the rest 'to go'.. it's still 'DINE-IN'.. but i have leftovers for the next day. Their wings are yummy. They only have 4 or 5 flavors. My favorite is BBQ flavored ones. During Wing Night.. it's loud and many obnoxious teeny bopper kids there. It's almost not worth going. After despairing at the news that they'd been out of Patron for a week despite being next door to an ABC liquor store that they frequently used, we celebrated John's birthday with rounds of Cuervo Gold (spoiled puckering), Adios Motherfxckers (adjusted to exclude gin because Jen has no tolerance for the juniper taste), and Pink Pxssies (Ocean Spray and the faintest hint of alcohol). Tried a piece of the boneless buffalo wings that Jen ordered for Tom and John, and was pretty ambivalent about the generic tabasco heat. John warned me away from the overly salty steamed veggies, but my Glory burger came out with overly salted fries as well. I was literally wiping the seasoned salt off my fingertips every other fry. I understand the mentality of making your bar customers thirsty so they'll drink more, but this was ridiculous to the point of shriveling up my lips. Other than that, fried egg was all done and no runny, red onion very sharp, and the burger patty-to-bun ratio was generous. Lots of screens of varying quality, but not an even coverage distribution. Crowd was a mix of families, older folks, and barely any sports fans. A few too many creepy shmucks willing to make a play for ladies already accompanied by men. Three bathroom stalls, only one in decent condition. Location's pretty easy to find since it's pretty much a straight shot down 28 from work. It's update time. As I've previously mentioned I am not a fan of paying for crappy service, since this was the standard I had been getting at Glory Days Manassas, I just stopped going. Thank Poptart (my sister) for having a wing craving last night, after about a 5 minute debate, she convinced me to agree to Glory Days take out for dinner. We placed the order and I must stay, the person on the end of the phone was very knowledgeable about the menu, took the order, read everything back to us and told us it would be ready in twenty minutes. When we got there, the server opened up each of the containers in front of us and checked each for accuracy. Poptart got wings and a salad. She was happy. I got the new buffalo chicken burger and a salad, I really enjoyed the sandwich. It's not a chicken patty like I was expecting, it's an actual ground chicken burger and it holds the juiciness much better. The buffalo sauce and bleu cheese were fantastic on top. Probably the best part about the sandwich was the amazing roll it was on, it was some sort of buttery goodness sent from above! I was quite sad when I'd realized I had eaten the whole thing. I am going to up my star points for Glory Days. Granted this incident didn't involve a sit down dining experience with an actual server but I feel like maybe they have stepped up their game a little bit. A kid friendly sports bar...awesome for dads and moms. We are fairly regular diners. The burgers are always good, the salmon is just ok but it's a sports bar. The staff is invariably friendly. The wait staff is mostly good. There has been a time or two when the service wasn't that quick but that has been rare. They usually have face painting or some other kids activity on Wednesdays. Nickelodeon or the Cartoon network is always on somewhere for the toddlers. The Mrs and I can then catch the Caps, the Skins or the Buckeyes while enjoying a cold beer and a decent meal. Come here on Sundays to watch football and TJ is the best server! I have had other servers and they were also good. Wings, burgers and steak are great but turkey is dry. First time eating at this Glory Days. The serving staff was very friendly and hard working considering they were so short staffed and slammed on a Wednesday night. The food was well prepared, delicious and served promptly to us after a short wait. My only suggestion would be to get more seltzer options as Truly is the only option there and they ran out after the first one. The host was another story.....he seemed so unhappy to be there and was very monotoned and unfriendly. At least make an attempt to be a little upbeat and friendly. Nothing special about this sports bar compared to other spots bars. Seemed a BIT rednecky though. Dining room was pretty full for an EARLY Monday afternoon (1 pm). Only two servers- they looked pretty overwhelmed. Our server took a while to get to us when we were seated (I want to say 10 minutes?) which was annoying, but it wasn't really her fault with all the people she had to take care of by herself. TRUTHFULLY my husband and I would had LEFT had our waitress finally approached us to tell us she'd be right with us. We were seriously counting down from 10 before getting up to go, as we wanted to catch our flight! (a Chick Fil A is next door- that's where we were headed before we changed our mind when we were acknowledged) Hostess seemed miffed about something, I don't know, maybe she had 10000 things to do at once? Who manages this place???? I will say that I have gotten wings at a million different places and have either had BAD experiences or GOOD experiences- thankfully this was a GOOD one. The wings were COOKED all the way through! HUZZAH. I had the wings with the 'old glory' sauce- very good, but very much like every other bars' "special sauce". I did find a hair in my bleu cheese- a short, thin, partially curly black hair. I'd be entirely grossed out if I didn't live in China before. A poor city in China. That would change your perspective on 'clean food' completely. So I just stopped eating the bleu cheese- didn't complain. My husband partook in the $5 classic burger deal. He enjoyed his burger. Fries were well seasoned. When I ordered a side the waitress asked if I wanted a SMALL side or a platter sized side- and I was VERY grateful she asked, as a small side was more than enough for me. Prices are decent. Bathrooms aren't too disgusting. Make sure you drop toilet paper NEAR the hole people (women), as the way the toilet flushes, it misses what people drop on the side. GROSS. Oh and at least in the stall I was in, the toilet splashes a LOTTTT when you flush so you might need a poncho. If you're passing through this area to get to Dulles, this is not a bad place to eat, but make sure you have time to WAIT just in case. If you've NEVER been to a Chick Fil A in your entire life, there's one RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS once you pull into Glory Days' parking lot. RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS. I'd go there instead of this bar. Another update because it has been a while and I wanted to show some love and appreciation for the Glory Days curbside service during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have ordered takeout from Glory days once a week since the mandatory shutdown orders took effect. The first week was a little different because they still had things on their online menu that they were not prepared to make for takeout. I also don't think they were quite ready for the amount of orders they were going to have on a Friday night during the first week of shutdown. Even with the restrictions and challenges, the food was ready and perfectly packaged at the time prescribed. In following weeks, the online menu was changed to what they were prepared to make and curbside pick-up was pushed as opposed to take-out from inside the restaurant. Each week after the first has been great and the food has always been hot, packaged well, ready right on time, and brought right to my car door at curbside. I loved Glory Days before the pandemic and we are frequent visitors. I'm glad we have been able to keep getting the same high quality food and service from Glory Days even after China screwed the world. read more

Let me preface this by saying that I've eaten inside this location several times and it's been great. They have better wings than most places. Since Covid, we've ordered takeout and delivery rather than dine in. The take out service has been really disappointing every time. When I pick up an order at least one item is incorrect. Tonight I ordered through DoorDash for delivery. When I received the bag, it was entirely the wrong order. Same first name different last initial. I texted my driver and was told that the restaurant gave them the wrong order and to call them. When I called the restaurant they verified which order was mine and said it was still there and to bring back the incorrect order pick up mine. I worked everything out with door dash and got a full refund. As a customer though, it's really frustrating to go through the ordeal without any sort of apology or concern over the error. It's hard to find sports bars that aren't either too sketchy to bring kids to or too stuffy and formal to bring kids to, but I feel totally comfortable bringing my family to this restaurant. Glory Days is a clean, safe, respectable establishment. It's often lively and busy, but never rowdy. The food is excellent. Try something random on the seasonal menu. They always have something unusual (like balsamic bacon brussel sprouts) and it's often surprisingly good. Tonight in particular, we had an amazing server. I never ask for server's names, but I did ask for hers (Rachael). We have a 7-month-old baby. It's so hard to go out to eat with babies, but the server went well out of her way to accommodate her littlest guest. She brought a spoon for the baby to eat and took the initiative to have it double-sterilized. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made for an overall spectacular evening! read more

Food was good as usual, but the last several times I've ordered curbside it just didn't happen. Tonight it looked as though there was only 1 server working the curbside/carryout area, and she was not able to handle the number of customers. After sitting at the curb for 5 minutes I decided I had best just park and walk in to pick up my order. I should also add (although this is no fault of GDs) the area outside the restaurant is just gridlocked at times with the dozens of cars waiting in line for the Chik-fil-a drive-through next door. read more

I've been to various Glory Days locations around Northern Va, but most recently chose to refuel at the Manassas location during the dinner hour with some friends. This was by far my best Glory Days experience to-date. Our server, Amanda(?), was awesome. She's just one of those people who seems constantly in a happy place. She was pleasant to be around, gave good recommendations and was never pushy. Even more impressive was the fact that she was detail oriented. She remembered from taking our orders that one person in our group did not like tomatoes, came back and asked if we wanted them included or not on the appetizer of nachos. We hadn't even thought of it - but she did! Kudos to her! App: Nachos - piled with gooey cheese, ample chili, topped with lettuce and sour cream. Our group of 3 devoured this dish with enthusiasm. Entree: Loaded Chili Dog w/ Hellfire Mac & Cheese - it's not often that I crave a hot dog, especially from a restaurant. Or anything with BBQ sauce (mac 'n cheese). I'm so very glad I gave it a shot. The dog was juicy and the chili, jalapeno relish and onion straws provided a number of various tastes and textures that blended perfectly together. The mac 'n cheese was a great match for the dog. Overly cheesy (in a good way) with a tad of BBQ sauce squeezed on top and jalapeno bacon mixed in. Winning! Dessert: Oreo Sliders - 3 crunchy oreo cookies filled with creamy oreo ice cream. Food was good, service was on-point all around and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our server (I think he's name was Jake) was wonderful and kept us really happy, the manager even stopped by our table to ensure that we were happy with our food and service. This location has slowly changed over the years - the menu has gotten much better but the service is horrid. On our last lunch visit we arrived shortly after opening and still waited a ridiculous long time to have anyone come over, take our order and then at the end find someone for boxes and our check. Giving 3 stars because the food is great. Understanding there are staffing shortages we typically go out to eat early. To reference, we where 1 of 2 tables at 11:15 and 1 of 6 when we left shortly after 1. The front team needed to focus less on socializing and more on the guests in the building. I love glory days, but this Manassas location needs help. The last 3 times i have gone to eat here, the service was atrocious. Today I walked in and was promptly seated. The tables to either side of mine were constantly being checked up on, but for 15 minutes, No one came to our table. What a giant waste of time. This is not the first time that this happens to me. Today a waiter made direct eye contact with me and walked away in the opposite direction. I thought maybe he was going to get our waiter but 10 minutes later, still no one. What a shame. We have been going to Glory Days almost every week for just short of 2 years and almost every time I get the Glory Burger (my favorite). This time, I was hungry for a salad, so I got the Cobb Salad and ordered extra Blue Cheese dressing. What I got was two small/tiny tins of dressing (Tablespoon each if that). Seriously? For as much as a Cobb Salad costs and for it's size, you are going to serve a chintzy amount of dressing?? Come on...you can do better than that!!! read more
