A true gem! While visiting our family in Priverno, they took us to this lovely ristorante in the heart of the city. The atmosphere is so charming. Old, rustic and authentic Italian with old stone work and rustic wood beamed ceilings. We were told "Montano" translates to olive press...of which they have numerous old presses in the main part of this lovely restaurant. This wonderful building dates back to the 12th century. The food, wine and service were top-notch. Be prepared to speak some Italian as their English is not conversational. read more

Food was incredible and waiter was very attentive and helpful. As with any restaurant in Italy the bread they immediately serve you is not free now is basic water so just be aware not surprised. Highly recommend their peppered steak.
