If anyone were to ask me if they should get a realtor I would say no. After my exspericaence with…read moreKim at this office. I feel like she lied to us over and over. When I first reached out to her I told her we can't sell our home for anything less the X amount. She said based on the comps she see no problem in getting that amount. She even chose the price to list it at. I do love the stager that she haired. We sold our home in less then 14 days at a price $3,000 less then asking. We had not even looked at home at Kim's suggestion. Thankfully we found one that we loved on the first day. Kim suggested that we go in at asking. We my husband and I said no. Good thing because the house appraiser for $4,000 more then the price we bought it for. Things went down hill after we were under contract. I feel like kim didn't care about our needs anymore. We felt like she was looking after only herself. The buyer of out home wanted settlement on one date and the seller of the new house wanted settlement two weeks before. Kim told us that we didn't have the right to choose that it was up to the buyer of our house and the seller of the new house. Where are our rights? The appraisal of our home came back way under. Over $10,000 less. Kim said it was based on the comps. I asked her to fight it but don't think she did because we never head back. We still went threw with the sale only after kim gave up all but 1.75% of her commission. I told her that we had to walk away with X amount in order to make this work. She actual said to me that we could afford to sell the house at that price because my husband and I are better off then most people she knows. My husband and I don't over spend. We only get what we need. We were working towards this goal for years. That's why we were better off. Kim would send emails to us and tell us what they were for. And when I questioned them she accused me of attacking her. At one point she had a loss in her family and the night before we got an email. I called her first thing in the morning and left a voice message. The email stated that there was a change don't the agreement of sale that something that was to be left is no longer part of the sale. I was very upset. It turns out that was the day of the loss. I has no idea. She called me and told me and I said so sorry. She said she would have so done from her office call me. Latter that day she sent me a text saying that we need to talk. I said ok when things are settled down with you. She then left a nasty voice message on my home phone. After that I had emails from her and her assistant. I never knew who was sending them or who to replay to. The kicker wasn't the day of settlement. Kim didn't even try to attend closing. She sent her assistant. We had issue with the heater. We couldn't get it to start. My husband asked whats happens if it doesn't work. The assistant Jill got smart with him. She said its nothing to worry about. Hello! We are about to buy a house where so etching is not working it is something to worry about! At closing Jill was chewing gum like a cow. So very annoying. It's been two weeks and kim has not tried to reach out to us. Very disappointed.

I don't write too many reviews. I've experienced a lot of 5-star service, but I just never "get…read morearound to it" when it comes to sharing a positive review. Well this time I'm actually following through, because Capri was/is a godsend. She came into our lives at a time when we were pretty hopeless about selling our Philly house. The only reason we tried again is because of Capri-magic. She calmed us, coached us and called us through the whole process. She never lied to us about our prospects, but also gave us enough hope to keep pressing forward. We ended up with an offer better than we could of imagined. Capri was probably happier than we were; that's how invested she was in making it work. Thank you Capri and team. Because of this miracle, my wife and I are in a better place to have a family.

I can't recommend Capri Dessecker and her team highly enough-they are truly the best. Capri is…read more*exceptionally* knowledgeable about the market, what to look for in houses and red flags to be aware of, and how to be strategic when it comes to making an offer and negotiating. She also truly wants the best for her clients-she took the time to really understand what we were looking for, is incredibly patient, and not only never pressured us but strongly encouraged us to look at homes that were the remotest of possibilities (I was worried about wasting her team's time but as she kept reminding me, the more properties we saw, the more informed we would be). She and Courtney are also so organized and helped us stay on track and on task for the whole laundry list of things that happen when you buy a house. They gave us a beautifully organized binder at settlement with all the docs we will ever need along with notes about what to do when (e.g., if you don't get a mortgage bill by this date, follow up, etc). Plus Capri is just really fun and kind and a joy to spend time with, and is clearly very invested in the Philadelphia community and supporting other local businesses. I know I'm gushing-and I never write effusive reviews-but honestly, that's how great they are!
