The facilities are fantastic with two outdoor schools, one for dressage the other for jumping, a jumping paddock, a half mile gallop track and a horsewalker as well as fantastic hacking on the epsom downs. Horses get turned out in the fields 365 days a year. The yard just has a great atmosphere, everyone being really friendly and there's always lots going on with plenty of people around. The staff are all very helpful, always on hand if you have a problem, no matter how big or small it is. The yard is very professional and many of the liveries compete to a high level. I have really benefited from the great tuition available and am now also much more confident taking my horse to shows. There are also often clinics with professional riders at the yard. The location of the stables is ideal as there are many show centers nearby, as well as the clear round show jumping which takes place at the yard on a weekly basis in the summer months. You can choose between part or full livery and the prices are very reasonable. I went traveling for 2 months so left my horse completely to their care. I was a bit worried about this since I'm usually down there every day, but when I came back he looked better than ever before. If anything it was depressing that they got him going better than I could! I can't recommend this yard enough, both myself and my horse are very happy here!

Horses enjoy year-round turnout ( no herds) on well-draining post and electric fenced fields. There is also a small restricted pen which is ideal for those coming back from injury. We hold regular clinics at weekends with something for everyone. We are very lucky at Woodruffe to have superb hacking country on the doorstep, with very little roadwork. Epsom Downs are only five minutes away, with Headley and Walton Heath nearby too .

I was never a fan of tack shops, always preferring the greater range of products and ease of…read morelooking at them in mail order catalogs. However, this place changed my mind. The shop is absolutely huge and well organized, offering a large range of products. Most importantly you can actually find what you are looking for and browse as the shop is well ordered. The staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, so can give informed advice. However, they are not pushy and if you just want to look around that's fine. There's all the products you could want for the rider, but more notably there is everything for the horse too. Many smaller tack shops mainly focus on rider equipment, while here you will also find a large selection of tack, supplements, rugs etc. It truly is a shop for the horse owner, not just the rider. There are also jumps and stable equipment on sale. All the products are good quality but the prices are also reasonable, the focus of the shop is not on exclusive, high-end gear.

Totes inside and outside( when the weather is ok) and of course bookies outside. Lots of parking or why not catch the train which is only a short walk away then you can visit the bars which are usually well run and quite quick. There are lots of places to eat and have tea and coffee. The course is good and you can get a good view of the track and the winning post. There are lots of television screens around to watch all the action and Sandown and other meetings.
