Bxquisit is the most friendly salon I've been in (and no, it's not because I'm from New York lol). I can tell everyone genuinely loves what they do and they're very pleasant. Not to mention, it's a relaxing experience every time I come in and the ladies do great work! I have come on two separate occasions (one for a silk press and one for a sew in) and Briana slays my hair EVERY TIME. She's amazing at what she does and she makes you feel at ease because SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING. Because I was new to the area, I was so nervous to let anyone touch my head of hair that I worked so hard to grow after doing a pixie cut 4 years ago. I was a faithful customer for about 12 years to my stylist, and I thought I would never find another. But no stylist (not even Ol' Faithful) has ever done my hair as well as Bri does. I'm natural and I expected to go in and get a silk press like I was told which was 60 bucks which is fine but I was left with flat hair stringy looking hair that made my hair look thinnish and it took her 5 hours to do my hair. I know I have alot of hair but I've been to other better stylists who were able to finish my hair in 2hrs and do way better. she also used alot of heat and not sure if she even used a heat protectant. I should've gone to jcpenny or the dominicans and paid extra money to get better results. I will not be going back. it was a waste of time and money that wouldve been spent better elsewhere than on this mess. i can't remember her name though. Update* washed my hair yesterday 8/11 and found out i had heat damage! its mild so its reversible hopefully with a protein treatment but if you have natural hair AVOID the stylist whos room is the first one on the right when you walk in. i forgot to add on my original post that before she trimmed my hair i asked her how much is she going to trim off and proceeds to say " youll see how much when it falls in your lap" who tf says that!?? found out another user who went to her as well. her name is tasha!
