This is not a good bank. I thought that maybe the pandemic was responsible for the general…read morenegligence and lack of service, but now that things have opened up again it is clear that the experience is consistent. After opening an account, they forgot to send my debit card for 2 months. Then, when I did need to activate it in an emergency, they had inactivated my account. I was unable to access my money from my debit card even after an hour invested in going to the branch and speaking with them. During the 30-minute wait the receptionist gave me to talk to a banker, I signed up for a new account at whitefish credit Union next door who had three bankers available. It doesn't seem like many people are empowered to do critical things. I used this debit card as a backup but I'm finding the bank to be too chaotic even for that.

Was told by Karla that I had two options, sign a hold harmless clause or pay cancellation fee, all to get a clean and accurate policy. When questioned Karla told me I was looking for a free ride. Kinda ironic as she had already been paid, and had similar communication issues with our attorney. Never again!

Last year,…read moreafter my agency in Thompson Falls was sold to an agency in Plains, I was told I was being canceled essentially because I was unable to clear all slash piles on the Forest Service land adjacent to my property. They did offer my a policy with a different company at a significantly higher rate. The Plains agency was no longer going to carry Allstate. I contacted Northern Rockies and they immediately saw that this cancellation was not right, got Allstate to change their decision and kept my policy in force at the same rates as before. I have nothing but praise for this agency and the way the handled my situation as they did not know my but still stepped up and took care of me. Highest Kudos!
