The front power jacks stopped working on our 5th wheel trailer up near International Falls, with no…read morechance to fix them up there. We called a few places in Brainerd and most couldn't fit us in within 3 weeks! Hilltop got us in on the same day to fix the power jacks on our 5th wheel trailer, plus they had the knowledge to fix rather than just replace the parts which got us up and running quicker because parts didn't have to be ordered and less expensive! I left them a $2000 deposit on a dock, delivery…read morewas set up a month later than promised, then when the promised day of delivery to our cabin arrived they didn't show up, and no one answered at the phone at the numbers I had been given. So after 5 hours of waiting I left the cabin and came home. They then called me 3 hours later saying that they were there now and that they could still leave it if I gave them a credit card number for the balance. And that they needed to charge me an additional $150 set up fee (I'd been promised that they would set the dock up on site but would not put it in the water when I originally purchased, so this fee was not expected). The kid just seemed really sleazy, and I didn't feel comfortable giving him a credit card number since I wasn't there to confirm the delivery or the assembly. I told him if they set it up and everything was there that was supposed to be there when I got to the cabin next weekend I'd send him a check for the remaining balance. He started shouting at me about it. That just confirmed my decision. I did not want to do business with these guys. I later checked with my neighbor at the cabin to see if there had actually been anyone there with a dock... and there hadn't been. Total scam. I'm still trying to get my deposit back. There's dozens of companies selling maintenance free docks for the same price in MN. Don't buy one from these guys. It is not worth the headache.
