They use only use regional whole milk, and their fruit ingredients represent 60-70% of those sorbet and ice cream flavors; plus, everything is organic. I ordered the strawberry sorbet and caramel gelato. They were so good that if I were to return to Lyon, I'd be torn if I want to reorder the same flavors or try new ones. After returning from our vacation in La Grande Motte, it was incredibly hot and our refrigerator had broken so my mom, husband, and I (and the baby, of course) ventured out to find a place that was open for dinner on a Sunday evening and had air conditioning. We ended up at Part Dieu Mall because I assumed something would be there that met our conditions. This was it. I ordered from the "pick a few tiny things" menu, choosing salad vegetables, blinis with various spreads, and tomatoes with mozzarella. I really wish I had brought my phone (I think it was out of batteries) because everything looked like it had been sitting out for ages. The spreads even had a film on top like they had gotten too warm sitting out. I choked down what I could because I was hungry but it was all pretty gross. My husband and mother had similar experiences with the "edibles" on their plates. Our waiter was very rude from the beginning. He acted like we were inconveniencing him by being there and he was snappy with my mother who does not speak much French. I don't think we got so much as a smile out of him the whole time. I always see a lot of people eating here and I guess it's for the frozen yogurt because I really don't think this place has any other redeeming qualities. The food is meh, the service is meh, the decor is atrocious, and the drinks are overpriced. I don't think we'll be returning.
