It's modern-industrial style makes it an awesome place to walk into. It's tranquil and relaxing, the moment you walk in. Melissa Tadlock did my facial and I simply would not want one from another. She made the process relaxing and peaceful and I walked away feeling so rejuvenated and renewed. She also helped me to pick some moisturizers that will help my skin and I have been using them over a month now and can tell a visible difference! He listened to me and took my problems seriously. Unfortunately, he recently moved out of state, but Dr. Barclay has been just as helpful. I'll really miss him. None of them smiled or made eye contact (in and eye care center). None of them said a word that was not required, not even when I tried to make them laugh. My experience was very "clinical". Unnecessarily so. I worked in the public for many years and being gracious and treating everyone like I would want to be treated was part of my job, That was what I enjoyed about my career. Going through your day just to get through it and not trying to connect with people along the way doesn't sound like a very fun job to me. Cataract surgery is a scary procedure and I don't understand why it was too much of a bother for these young people to try to make me feel more comfortable about it, since they were getting paid to have me in their presence, anyway. Even the older lady who's job it was to get paperwork signed was less than cordial. Nobody asked me if I had any questions. I'm having a hard time returning for my procedure because having to go through being invisible again, just because I'm not as pretty as I used to be isn't something I look forward to. Honestly, something feels really off about it. This could be an awesome business if they did some training on Excellent Customer Service but as it stands, I don't want to go back.

They wanted to do the test that they charge $50 for because insurance does not cover it but they say it is important. I was getting checked after having a stroke and being diagnosed with diabetes. They were supposed to do a new prescription which they did not do. They had me read one set of letters, dilated my eyes, then the ophthalmologist came in and with a light, looked in each eye. Said I was good to go and nothing else needed. I'm sorry, less than two minutes With the actual opthalmologist. A complete fraud for insurance companies bc they have signage stating you will have your eyes dilated, why? A majority of the staff is very rude and unhelpful. PCMs need to stop referring patients to this place.
