I cannot understand Kevin G's negative review for Dr. Giroux. I have two of her dogs (Affenpinschers) right now and both have great personalities. One is an obedience champion (UD title) that I trained and showed and received high marks at AKC obedience shows. The other, the grandmother of the obedience champion, is 17 and doing just fine. When I purchase or adopt dogs from a breeder or a shelter I take full responsibility for their care and future medical costs for the dog so I cannot understand why Kevin G would expect a breeder to share medical costs for any dogs he purchases or adopts. Kevin mentions in his remarks "trying to get some assistance with medical costs" apparently is unable to afford the care that a dog may require so shouldn't have adopted or purchased a dog in the first place. read more

I would suggest that you in no way use this business. The Doctor Phyllis Giroux does not stand behind her contract. She promises a healthy puppy, however when this is not the case she will deny any responsibility in the cost of helping the puppy with vet visits and surgeries. She also refuses to even have contact with the new owners who are just trying to get some assistance with costs. Silly short sighted lady and a very bad business person with bad business practices. Again please avoid using this Vet at all costs, you want the best for your animals not the worst! read more
