Our intention was to travel without the camper-van into Istanbul, so needed a place to re-group after driving up from Gorome, through the insane traffic entering Istanbul, and leave the van securely.
Yes, it's an older site, but if you want all the mod-cons, try a Euro-campsite and pay accordingly.
Re: dogs. The campsite has no control over the noise neighbourhood dogs make. It's something one has to get used to in Turkey.
I recall language was an issue, but as we had travelled through 15 countries on this trip, one muddles on and there were no problems.
There was running water, showers, albeit cold/Luke-warm but after 12 weeks of camping, we were very happy with the provisions.
Very much hope they are still operating, as we intend to go a trip around the Black Sea, and would love to go back to Mistik and neighbouring village.
