We ordered the Maya Combo for breakfast which comes with a variety of fruits, yogurt, breads, cheeses, jams and ham plus juice and coffee, and it could easily serve four people. The food was just simple, nothing amazing, but the atmosphere was so relaxed and enjoyable that we had a great time. I was a little disappointed by the orange cake that came with the combo as they had so many more appetizing looking options in the bakery case, but I was too full already to splurge on more cake. For moms it's also a meeting place in the afternoons where they can have a coffee (or a wine!) while the kids play. Though it's not a destination in itself, I would definitely come back if I were in the area again.

Literally next to the Saturday farmers market (where you can buy fresh fruit, veggies, and Brazilian goodies). The bruschetta was fabulous btw

I had the kiwi caiperhnha, great choice, I want to try the mango one next time. Everything was fresh and natural, the meat was well seasoned. I went back that same night to drink some "original" beer.

We order empanadas do queso and camaron....outstanding to say in the least. Plus their hot salsa is fire!! Very spicy and delish! They recommended their national drink "caipirinha." Outstanding! I'm a cheap drunk so one was enough and it was strong!

Decent portion for the price, good fries, food does not that too long to come for an a la carte place. I have tried their chicken wraps and burgers with no complains. Was there last Friday and despite advise from a colleague who tried their prawns/shrimp cream cheese sandwich, i went with it anyways. Good amount of prawns, bread was OK... BUT SOOOOOOOOO MUCH CREAM CHEESEEEEE!!! Seriously, I think they put about 10 cubes / squares of cream cheese on a piece of ciabiatta. I guess for anyone is absolutely crazy about cream cheese... (and I do mean ABSOLUTELY CRAZY...) would I recommend this. Would still go back though, I still l like their burgers and wraps :)

The concept reminds me of the American Burgers - Shake Shacks (with out the stuffed portabello) but similar. The lines can get really long, but they move at an ok pace. Space for seating is limited, so either go in a group early and have someone reserve a table while you are in line to order, or take your burger to go. for a good burger in downtown rio, this place is worth checking out!

There are tables outside along the sidewalk as well as a few inside and the vibe was casual and quiet. I observed a few solo diners on their phones and ladies having a snack with their toddlers. In addition to serving hot meals, they also sell pastries, cold meats and cheeses along with pantry items like cookies, chips and gluten free pasta. I had the cod fish croquette, a sausage in a baguette and a capirinia (yes, it was a little weird having a cocktail on a weekday morning but I've seen dudes drinking beers on the beach at 8 am so there.) The waiter kindly indulged me in listening to my newly learned Portuguese ("qual e o seu prato favorito?" and "a conta, por favor!") Definitely the friendliest service I've experienced in Rio thus far!
