Gipsy is located in San Telmo, Buenos Aires. Close to where the famous San Telmo market is held every Sunday. If not for the small sign in front of the locale you would walk by without even know there was a restaurant there. The place is not very large, but it is cozy. They offer Spanish cuisine which was ok by me since I hadn't had breakfast and it was now about 2:30 in the afternoon. Our hostess who also turned out to be our waitress showed us to a table and took our drink orders. German beer for me, a Red Sangria and a non carbonated grapefruit juice drink. For our lunch we ordered a Shrimp in garlic sauce, a classic tortilla and a Fransesa or French Tortilla. The food was very well prepared and was flavorful, especially the shrimp dish. It's a nice spot for a quick and simple bite to eat. Prices of our meal for three persons including 2 beers and 2 sangrias came out to $24US. read more
