I like this thrift store for furniture only really. You can get some good deals on it. They are…read morealways friendly (only once I experienced a not so friendly moment but we all have our moments). They do help load your furniture and I appreciate that as most thrift stores won't. I rarely find anything else here. The other things like knick knacks, dishes, lamps, etc are usually broken. Inspect items carefully. I also once took a lamp harp off a broken lamp and they wouldn't sell it to me because I stupidly said I took this off a broken lamp is that ok? This is the one time I experienced rudeness he said no, we don't part our pieces. I said that is fine, I get it I just thought you would rather get something out of a broken lamp because no one will buy it broken. I put it back on the broken lamp and that was that. I shouldn't have said anything and he would have never been the wiser. Everything is in boxes and some on shelves but even stuff on shelves is mostly broken, sadly. The clothes and linens are in big piles on tables. What ends up on the floor mostly stays there, as most people don't pick up after themselves. It isn't folded or organized because, come on people are messy. They can't spend all day folding and organizing that area. It can have a smell and is messy. So if you are the type that likes organized thrift stores, don't want to dig or don't like asking for the price of things then this isn't the place for you. You do have to ask for prices and they will also consider an offer if you don't like what they want for the items. They may say no, but more than not the price is good or they will at least consider your offer. All in all I will continue to stop in from time to time because it is fun and the prices are fair in my opinion.

I want to share my experience as someone who has donated to and shopped at this store, because the…read morecommunity deserves to know what is really happening inside. **The manager's behavior is unacceptable.** He is consistently rude and aggressive with customers -- yelling at people who ask about prices and telling them, "if you like it, take it; if not leave it." What makes this worse is the clear pattern: Hispanic and darker-skinned customers receive hostility and inflexible prices, while white customers are met with a friendlier attitude and better deals. I have witnessed this repeatedly. Whether intentional or not, this is discriminatory behavior and it needs to be addressed. **The wait times on truck days are unreasonable.** On Tuesdays and Fridays when the donation truck arrives, customers are made to wait outside for hours, in the middle of a brutal summer heat. There is no shade, no communication, and no respect for people's time. **The inside conditions are just as bad.** The store has no air conditioning, and the fans are frequently not turned on, making the shopping experience miserable and potentially dangerous. I have personally seen elderly shoppers visibly overheated inside the store. This is a health and safety concern. The store itself is also completely disorganized, making it difficult and frustrating to shop. People donate to Soul Harbor because they believe in the cause. The staff should treat shoppers -- who are also part of this community -- with basic dignity and respect. Right now, they are not.

I don't know how I ended up at Webb Gallery during a time when it was actually open. When my wife…read moreand I rolled into Waxahachie late one Saturday afternoon and found nearly everything closed, we had no idea that we were walking into Webb Gallery during one of the only times all week when it isn't. The first thing you're likely to notice here is the dog. I hope you like playing with dogs, because the little black Boston terrier in this place is going to bring you toys and expect you to throw them. His little black body is going to blast and shake his way back and forth across the room the entire time you're there. He cares not for art. He cares for play. If you're at all like me, once you managed to lure the hyper little dog close enough to a wall to actually look at the art, you're going to be delighted. I've gone to contemporary art museums, trying to make myself a better person in some way, and spent the whole time trying to understand... anything... really. I read information about the artists and what they're trying to portray, and my brain makes a noise like "buh" and shuts down. Here, though, the art is simply delightful. When we went, there were sideshow posters and paintings like old tattoos. There were small pieces based on elaborate displays of bad puns and large moving displays made of toothpicks. There was cute jewelry like the silver necklace my wife bought with the pendant that just says "blah blah blah." Everything is fun and whimsical and punctuated by the excited grunts of a tiny dog dropping a Gumby toy at your feet. The owners seemed very happy to discuss any of the pieces with us, and knew all about the artists who had created the art. I think they stayed open longer just because we walked in when we did, and at no point did we seem rushed to get out. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute of our visit to Webb Gallery. If I ever find myself in the area on a slow weekend afternoon again, I will certainly be stopping in to see what's in their gallery next.

I took my pouch with the rose quartz and chewing John root and the other items Eric made for me. When I walked into court, I was fully protected. I wasn't anxious. I spoke extremely clearly on the stand whereas my adversary made a complete fool of himself and lost a significant amount of his rights in court. I was confident and said everything I needed to- nothing more and nothing less. I followed up with Eric and Jo a couple weeks later and we discussed the positive outcome.
