Located in the heart of the market, you'll find the prices to be considerably lower than bigger florists in the centre of town. Selling a range of flowers and plants (a number of which are home grown on a nearby allotment), you can pick up a host of bargains here. The lady working here was extraordinarily friendly; I went to buy a pot plant, only for here to recommend another one because it would be better provided by the weather.

The Flower Stand is the sister shop to a greater store in Shoreham, and thus is always well-stocked with popular and beautiful flowers. Even so, the value for money here is great: each bouquet is a mixture of flowers, different every week, so there's always something different to look at. As well as their bouquets and other assortments, The Flower Stand also offers more traditional flower set-ups, like organising arrangements for special occasions and the like: I understand their service is very good, although I haven't tried it myself. There are nice florists about. But none, I think, as nice as this. She as a knack for making things extra pretty and totally different to any other flower arrangements I've seen.
