This is a very cute little retro Café/Bakery/Corner Store. They have delicious coffee, I tried the lavender latte, and it was really tasty. Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious, so are their fresh salads. They also offer soups, quiche, coffee cakes, and various other baked items that are made in- house. The ones that I have tried so far are all delicious. When you enter this establishment, it looks like a little retro store with candy, kitchen items, and other little knickknacks. To order your food, you go to the counter. There Is some seating inside and they also have several wooden little tables outside with chairs and umbrellas. Sitting there, you have a nice view of the mountains and the little park that's right across the street. I really enjoyed my visit here. The staff is super friendly and I cannot wait to come back and try some other items on their menu. I would definitely recommend this place, but please beware that their kitchen closes at 2:30pm and the Café itself closes at 3pm. Beautiful little neighborhood gem!

Met Fellow Yelper Jessica :))))) at Ginger Corner Market. What a fun day! She recommended this place. Walkable distance from the Lake Shops Parking Lot. It is a nice neighborhood coffee and bites cafe that doubles as a trinket/beverage shop. Service was friendly and there was a lunch rush after we placed our order and sat down. There is self service water and also Squirrel Air Fresheners! Ordered the BLT Sandwich 5/5. The sweet Bacon was delicious and sandwich was large. Took half to go. Ate it the next day and the sandwich was still fresh. Chocolate chip cookie 4/5. Great place to sit down and catch up.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. It's nestled into a quiet little neighborhood in Pasadena and it's like something out of a movie. Very cute and rustic, very much homemade and handmade. It's got plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and it's right across the street from a park. People come in and out of the shop all greeting the people behind the counter by name. It smells absolutely incredible in the little cafe, smells like bread and coffee and barbecue. The prices are pretty low, considering the area. They carry a lot of organic products, all food is made in store, lots of little artisanal things to shop for. But the food! We ordered the beet salad and the ham and Brie sandwich and both were just so so good. Shared the two between me and my partner and we both felt full after. All the flavor pairings were perfect and complimented each other, ham and Brie sandwich was tangy because of the cheese but had a layer of fig jam spread on and it was heaven. Everything tasted fresh. All baked goods are baked in store and they look it. Would definitely come back and I'd like to try everything! Recommend highly.

Really cute, tasty, and quaint place!! Family owned and they are very friendly. My second time coming here and this time we biked (there is street parking and some poles around you can chain your bike to. But there isn't really bike parking like it says). It's so hard to choose which pastry to eat cause there is a WEALTH of delicious baked goods staring back at you begging you to choose it!! We went with the lemon bar and it was delicious! Had great crust and a lot of custard. I also wandered around their store section and found the funniest and cutest squirrel air freshener! They have some cute cards and unique items there (like army soldier toys doing diff poses). There is plenty of seating inside and even seating outside. The decorations are so cute! We tried the watermelon lemonade and it was kinda bland. My husband tried the orange blossom tea on his last visit and said it was also bland. So their strong suit aren't the drinks but the food and pastries are amazing!! We got the crispy chicken sandwich and the flavor was SO GOOD!! The bread was soft and buttery leaving your mouth watering!! The chia pudding was kinda dry but had a good texture to it. They give plenty of granola inside so that was nice. Overall, I highly recommend coming here for a visit!! It is right across from a park as well. It's a very peaceful place.

This place has so many good vibes. I know I'm guilty of spending too much of my money in soulless chain restaurants, I wish I spent more time in businesses like Ginger instead. The staff seemed genuinely happy to be working here! My sandwich was delicious, as was the orange spice ice tea. They also sell party supplies, which I probably won't buy but are fun to look at while you enjoy your lunch. I'll be back.

I was in the area for work and a coworker actually recommended this place to me! It seems to be one of those trusty college delis that suddenly appeared one day and permanently becomes student lore. Inside, I found a quant mini-market stocked with a bunch of snacks, drinks, and the counter for ordering. The worker (i forgot his name!) helped us immediately, and I ordered the pastrami. I sat outside, where there were plenty of tables with shade! The worker brought out the sandwich to us, and I thought it was huge! The price seemed a bit high for ne, but that wasn't too big of a concern since the sandwich was jam packed with meat and kraut. The flavor wasn't too salty for me, and had the right amount of flavor with the bread. This was a great spot, and I'll have to stop by again.

Ginger Corner Market is a quaint little market with freshly made salads, sandwiches, and pastries. It's a small operation but you can tell they put alot of care and attention to detail into their food. The dessert display is what really drew me in, and the desserts I tried so far were both pretty great. Their lemon bread pudding was so unique, I've never tried anything like it. I also enjoyed my PB&J bar, which was basically a peanut butter cookie base layered with jam and cookie crumble. They also have a fun little gift shop table as well as a refrigerated beverage aisle, like a true little corner mini mart. And of course, service was superb. I observed the owner interacting with the customer ahead of me who seemed to be a regular, and the way they were talking reminded me of those small town stores where everyone knows everyone; it really gave me a cozy homey feeling. Anyways, Ginger Corner Market is an adorable little store and I'm excited to go back and try more of their actual menu as well as their other pastries.

We had to circle the area a few times to find street parking. It would be nice if they had a designated parking lot in addition to street parking because some of the businesses around there had that. There was seating inside despite the store being pretty small, so my bf and I just ate inside. The cakes were pretty good! I got the Matcha Yuzu and he got the Kinako Chestnut. I couldn't really taste the yuzu until I tried only the first layer of cream. The matcha overpowers the yuzu a lot because there was two layers of matcha cream and one layer of matcha cake. Still really good and can taste that the matcha is high quality! As for the kinako chestnut, we couldn't taste the chestnut much but there were some chestnut pieces hidden in the cake! I would love to try the peach one as well but this place is quite far. Hopefully I'm in the area when they have the peach seasonal again.

Most of the cakes cost $9+ and the sandwiches were $10+! Got the Egg Heaven Sandwich ($13) and it was pretty much an egg salad sandwich. The bread didn't taste fresh and was quite dry. I was expecting the bread to be soft and fluffy but that wasn't the texture at all. The egg salad was quite heavy on mayonnaise and had too much pepper for my preference. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the sandwich unfortunately. The Sunny Side Up (Coconut Mango Mousse Cake) - $9.50 - was delicious! Love how it was nicely packaged in a cute tin! The mango mousse was so creamy and I could tell it was made with sweet mangos! The cake was so moist and fresh. The coconut cream on top made it even more delicious! Definitely recommend! The Tiramisu ($9.50) was so good! It was so creamy and every bite was nicely layered with mascarpone mousse/coffee jelly and topped with cocoa powder. It wasn't too sweet and the cream didn't feel too heavy. The cake was very fresh and soft! Overall, I didn't enjoy the sandwich but the cakes were incredible and definitely worth getting!

Staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful with menu items and deciding between the 'crispy' or regular Caesar wrap. I love the industrial Italian atmosphere when you walk in. Hubby got the Classic Aussie sandwich and the bread pudding, while my son and I got the Beef Pho meat pies and Popcorn Pork meat pie rolls. The beef pho meat pie definitely had the pho flavors and aromatics. This was absolutely delicious! The Popcorn Pork was good, not as aromatic as the pho pie. The flavor was lacking on the Taiwanese popcorn chicken basil flavor that it claimed. It reminded me more of a Vietnamese meat pie (pate chaud), which is peppery with a smoother texture that this one did not have, but it was still flavorful. The bread pudding was good but the texture was more dense reminding me of a banana bread loaf. I didn't care for the dollop of yogurt on top, which took away from the flavor of the bread pudding itself. Hubby said the Classic Aussie was good but was expensive for the size of the sandwich (small burger size). Hubby got the Long Black coffee which was good, but sadly my iced matcha latte was lacking in the matcha flavor. It was very pale in color and tasted mostly of milk. Service was quick and friendly. I will come back for the meats and try the other flavors of the meat pies next time.
