The gym itself is great, plenty of things to do. But I was there for the Spa treatment and what a…read moretreatment it was not. Firstly you needed to bring everything (Own towels, own sandals, own swimming cap (else you must pay 4euro extra), own locks, own water (or buy from vending machine) etc) as nothing is provided even for the price I paid. Any other Spa I would have gotten better. The thermal spa was small and noise, lots of shouting, screaming from other users. Not peaceful at all. Some of the water function did not work. The sauna was way too hot to be in there for longer than 30 second and the other Turkish hamman/roman baths wasn't even working/switched on! There was no staff to show you around the facilities (or lack of staff), nor was there drinking water provided and you had to work things out on your own. Of course, the pools look nothing like in the pictures. Next was the 1 hour massage which was the worst massage I've ever had. It's like the masseuses did not know what they were doing!! The oil was cold and slapped on your body, rubbed in like you would rub salt on a chicken. I asked the girls to make the massage stronger, they agreed, yet it was very weak, almost more like a pat on the back for 50min than a massage. The strokes were sharp, random and incomplete. It was not enjoyable and I was cold half way through it (after coming from the spa with wet bathing suit). I think there can be ALOT of improvements.

Forma Sport in Ruzafa/Russafa has the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a gym. I…read morewas traveling with a group that was approved for a group rate and the representative at the front desk denied of such a rate even though I had an email confirming the rate and time period I was going to be in town/a member. He finally accepted the rate, but he said I could only pay by cash. A corporate chain like this does not take credit cards. Know that you have to bring a hand towel or you can rent one, for 1E. The best time to go to this gym is early am. Any time in the evening after work is completely packed and it is extremely uncomfortable to work out. Despite everyone having their own required hand towel, machines are marked with sweat stains and there is no hand sanitizer. The worst part is that there is no AC, so imagine the gym at night. There is also no AC upstairs where the weights are, and it starts off damps and becomes super humid and sweaty. I only joined because of the discounted rate and because it was around the corner from my apartment. I will never work out at Forma Sport again. I hope the team also re-trains their staff to be more accommodating. 0 for service, 0 for cleanliness, 3 for facility, didn't take any classes to rate

I'm a bit disappointed with the spinning classes I have attended due to old or out of repair bikes and a not-so-great instructor, but seriously, a workout is what you make of it. Whether you want to swim, do cardio, take a class, or even just relax, this is a good starting point for staying active!
