Overall, we had a great experience. Initially, it was a little tough to get to our table. It wasn't totally clear when we came in where to drive to get there. Then we finally parked and wondered around a bit looking for where to go in. Once we found the tasting room, there wasn't anyone at the door to greet us so we weren't sure if we should just sit or wait. Finally we spoke to someone at the bar and she told us to just sit where ever. Other than the arrival, this was a great tasting! We decided to do the tasting and cheese pairing. We started with a welcome drink of sparkling wine followed by 3 whites and 3 reds. The cheese board was not too impressive but I am glad we had something to nibble on. My husband and I stayed here last night and we had so many issues with the hotel that no one took action to fix nor did they provide any compensation. We returned from a long day of wine tasting followed by the sunset drinks they promote (not really that great to be honest) and we were hungry. We were told that we could place the order with the front desk via WhatsApp and that they'd bring it to our room. One hour later, we still had no food (we ordered one salad to share) so we texted the front desk. Only then did she tell us that our order was canceled because the kitchen was too busy with other guests to make our dinner. WHAT?! Then, we go to bed and then around midnight we are awoken by a horrible screeching sound in our room. We discovered that the sound is coming from a cricket that is stuck in the closet but there isn't anything anyone can do. Let me just say that crickets at your head are VERY VERY LOUD. Impossible to just ignore it. We end up having to ask for bug spray and then finding and killing (sorry!) the cricket ourselves. This process took one hour and no one single "we are so sorry this happened" or "let us make this right" or "we'll provide some compensation for you in the morning" - the experience was miserable.
