Poorly organized and very frustrating!…read moreCalled in April as my kid turned 16 in July and wanted to be ready to take the road test on birthday. Was assured it would be done before then. Registered and started online course asap. After a couple of times having to redo the lesson sections called to find out why. She had no idea so I was told to call another number. Guy informed me that my kid had actually NOT been registered by them. He fixed it. We continued. Took a month to get the first in-car driving lesson at which point the instructor Sukhi went to the wrong address but after calling us found us. My kid was then made to drive some woman in the back seat to St. Albert from Sherwood park. (Was not the only time.. my niece also had to drive the student before her home when she got picked up by Sukhi for her lesson!) Doubling as an Uber?? First time on the highway and the instructor tells my kid to go faster. Informed her she was already going 100km/h. Was told it's ok to go faster. Umm...WHAT?! SPEED???? Spent the majority of her time on her phone or computer instead of actually watching the driver. Suggested my kid skip school to accommodate her schedule. Told me for one lesson I would have to drive my kid to the southside to have her lesson but I told her I can't because I work so she moved the appointment because she didn't want to pick my kid up as is supposed to be. Wouldn't book driving lessons ahead of time only after each session. Difficult to make appointments. No-showed for one and when we called to see where she was said she was out of town. No cancellation or notice or phone call! Had to wait another month to get back in to her schedule. Showed up for an appointment that wasn't booked and insisted it was. Showed up for one session and told my kid she had hoped we forgot because she had cramps. Repeatedly says she will call you right back either to book or to organize something and then doesn't. Been told a few times to call her back in a week because she wasn't feeling good. Final appointment made for a 10-12am time on a Sunday (in November now!) She showed up screaming at 8am and insisted that was what she'd said!! Turns out she screwed up (Duh!) and picked up my kid 2 hours early. Then after the 2 hour lesson drove to the next kids house where she was 2 hours late and had him drive my kid home at which point my kid was scared! 7 months to do 5x 2hour driving sessions!!?? Glad to be done! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!! HIGHLY STRESSFUL!! WONDERING IF THEY'RE ACTUALLY LEGIT?!??!! Will be checking into this!

I tried other driving schools before, but after 10 hours in the car, I ended up being more scared to drive. But Park Driving School was different. It was because of my instructor's (Ash) commitment to teaching me to become a safe and good driver, which like a spell, he would recite every session. It was a lot of hard work and stress. Several times, I wanted to give up. But Ash would not let me. After more hard work, I passed the road test. At my age and situation, it's such a great accomplishment. I guess, the spell also worked ;). I know this is just the beginning of a new life and I need to work harder and practice more driving. But, I would not be here without Park Driving School. Seriously impressed with Mumtaz, my son's driving instructor at Central Driving School!…read moreMy son was one of those teens that had only 'practiced' in my car a couple of times before starting driver's training (a couple times was enough for this mom!). I could tell after each session with Mumtaz, that my son was becoming a more confident and skilled driver. We practiced a couple times between each lesson and my son would frequently express Mumtaz 'quotes'. If I gave 'advice' it was 'me freaking out', if Mumtaz did it was HEARD. I also loved that my kid liked his instructor. He said "you can tell Mumtaz has been doing this for a long time and I think he really cares about his job and is proud that he makes people good drivers". The best Mumtaz quote I heard was when they were observing other drivers, if they noticed a good driver, Mumtaz expressed that he must've taken drivers training with Central! We purchased the extended driving course (which, I think, was 14 hours in car- 7 two hour sessions). Six sessions of lessons and we used the last session for the drivers test - which he passed!!! I highly recommend Central Driving and Mumtaz!!

He was very courteous when setting up lesson times and was punctual and great with communication. I really like how he organized and spaced apart her driving hours so that she could do her final lesson with him the day before her road test. He gave my daughter very specific feedback that helped her to improve and she knew exactly what areas to work on prior to her test. Victor has experience as a driving tester so he really knows specifically what the assessors are looking for and that is helpful. It was also pretty awesome that she had the opportunity to do her driver training in a Tesla!
