I was…read morealways very nervous about getting on the road as a teen but due to some issues with my mothers health that lead her to quit driving we were in a bit of a rush for me to get a license before the graduated drivers license program kicked in. Gerry my driving instructor and the gentleman from their office who did the classroom portion of the lessons (his name escapes me) were very good about helping me to deal with my anxieties and treated me with the utmost respect. In my time on the road I was provided with a card that tracked my daily progress and the things that I needed to work on Gerry also modified my lessons to spend more time on the things I was weak at (parking) and less time on things that I was doing fine with (highway driving). I passed my road test with flying colors and I will never forget the look on Gerry's face of genuine pride and mutual excitement for my achievement. It's been quite some time now and even though I have quit driving every time I see Gerry he still waves or honks if he is in the car. These people are patient,kind,and experienced and there is no better hands to place yourself in when learning to drive.

He initially communicated by texting my brother about attending a session on Sunday, May 25 and we would do it back-to-back. We were told only "premium" options were available, but we were doing it back-to-back and that payment could be made on the day of the 2-hour class, which was fine. My brother texted Adi saying he would let me know about the change only that day. the day after, around 10 PM, Adi texted my brother saying the slot had to be paid for immediately or it wouldn't be held. My brother has an irregular work schedule and wasn't able to respond right away or even tell me this. I then personally texted Adi today asking if it would be possible to move my session to Saturday instead. Rather than addressing my request, he focused on how he messaged my brother and told me that all the Sunday slots had been filled without ever informing me that this was happening or that my own slot was at risk. He then told me I should "fix my communication with my brother," even though Adi never once messaged me that my individual reservation would be affected by my brother not replying. When I expressed my frustration about waiting an entire week for this practice session only to have it taken without notice, he claimed I was being "disrespectful" on the phone, when I was simply upset and disappointed. This experience was incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. If you value your time and money, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Clear communication and basic courtesy are essential, and this company showed neither.

He is a very calm and polite instructor. # Specially in his first class he explained intersection in detailed with prepared, properly marked on paper. You will never get confused after his first class about controlled with signal or symbols intersections, uncontrolled intersections. 4 way stops, left turn, right turn etc etc #Second thing which I like the most is most of the time his cell phone is on silent mode, as a learner I felt it was very comforting as there was no distraction about ringing or messaging of the phone. #Third thing during my classes he never left me in the car to do his personal businesses ( getting a coffee/ washroom breaks etc etc). #Fourth, If I did any mistake he did not get mad at me, his wording like "Madam Ji , dekh ker " :) (please see :)) Over all, if you want to not only pass your exam but also to learn proper and safe driving after your exam, take your classes from Satwant ji. You could tell that they weren't used to driving on a highway yet, which made me feel very uncomfortable. My driving instructor, Anwar, would answer phone calls from his brother and reply to emails for a good part of my lesson when I was driving in high traffic areas like white ave. I had no problem getting my Class 3 with Air Breaks. The instructor was very clear and spoke so we…read morecould understand, and he made himself available to answer every and all questions that we had. I would give a 5 star but the ONLY issue I had, was during my driving test, we were on Yellowhead coming off the 170 St exit, and it was rush-hour, and my driving instructor at the time told me to "Make sure that I don't stall on the hill because if I do, he doesn't know how to drive the vehicle and get us out and to safety". I was floored. Good thing I knew what I was doing, and I was able to take that as a good joke even though it wasn't, he was dead serious. My only advice for this driving school is maybe dont put someone in the cab to grade somebody on a road test to see whether or not they pass if they don't know how to drive the vehicle themselves. Could've been a pretty dangerous situation if I didn't know what I was doing or if I got anxiety and stressed out easy in high stress situations. mind you this was 20 years ago so I don't know if it's still like that. Lol.
