I guess our job was just too small and they truly were not interested. I find it hard to believe a tree company is so busy that they can't even call back after a month. The team did a great job with their amazing spider lift to go up at least 60' to clear a large limb from one of our trees. Definitely a scary job, but they were up to the task. You would never know they were even in our yard with the marvelous clean-up they did of the leaves and miscellaneous branches that fell along with the tree limb. Absolutely going to request the "A" team for our next round of tree work by Sav-A-Tree!!!!

They have fantastic equipment and they are very skilled at operating it. However, my recommendation is to get a second opinion before you make a decision....wish I had. We had two sets of co-dominant trees that they highly recommended to be cut down because they were potentially dangerous trees (could fall on the house) with a supposed carpenter ant infestation in the one pair. After the trees were cut down it turned out to there was zero evidence of rot or carpenter ants. The tree did have a big fault line where the two trees connected at the stem which was a cause for concern because it causes weakness in both trees. Dustin mentioned cabling the tree and doing plant care but it was going to be thousands of dollars with no guarantee of success (if it actually had rot which it turned out it did not). I understand that no one knows the true state of a tree till they get into the work but I am beyond sad that I cut down 60+ year old oak trees that maybe didn't need to be removed after all. So I'd definitely suggest getting a second opinion if you're not completely sure. Also, he did not put tar over the stumps and now it appears I have oak wilt happening which needs to be addressed.

I had 9 pine trees to take down. 2of them were about 40 feet tall. Nick climbed up them like it was nothing, cut the branches off and then worked his way down quickly and efficiently. (Kind of reminded me of a Bugs Bunny cartoon). They hauled away the logs and ckeaned up the branches all for a VERY reasonable price. He works from his truck, so he has low overhead, which is reflected in his prices. Dont waste your time on the big companies with the expensive trucks and advertising. They cant hold a candle to Fahlens!
