Greenstone Family Clinic is a lovely establishment in Manurewa, and I've been registered here for…read moreover ten years now. From what I've heard from friends and family about other doctors, Greenstone seems to be the most reasonably priced even if you aren't a student (under 18's enrolled with the clinic receive free consultations). My family doctor Michael Morrison is probably the busiest (and most popular) doctor I know- he's great with patients and you've got to book a week or two in advance to see him- there's a long waiting line of people just specifically wanting to see him! That's not to say that the other doctors and nurses here aren't great- I've had appointments with quite a few of them and they're always willing to listen and give great advice. Greenstone also provides a place for doctors in training to get a bit more experience in the field. If you give your permission, doctors in training are able to take your appointment while being guided by a qualified doctor. I've been through this a couple of times as I really don't mind, it only takes a few more minutes and it's nice to know I'm contributing to someone's education. The doctors, nurses and staff really make this clinic. They are consistently helpful, thoughtful and give you all the advice you need. I find that you don't get that much at other clinics where its a bit more straightforward and more like a business transaction. It's very family oriented which is a big plus.

I have seen about 4 of the Doctors there now and they are all absolutely fantastic. After coming from a Doctors in Otahuhu at High St Medical Centre I was very unhappy about the service one of the Doctors there offered, I have been extremely happy with my care I've received at Greenstone. The team of Doctors, nurses and admin are all wonderful, friendly and on to it! I am always telling people about this medical centre especially as the level of care in South Auckland is lacking. I highly recommend this Greenstone and give it my highest rating.

I would not call this a hospital as they have limited services available, i.e no Accident &…read moreEmergency wards. I also believe that they do not have any wards on site to admit patients. It's purely for clinics only. It gets very busy in the modules, but often there are several clinics being run at the same time. These days, lots of medical facilities also want you to pay for car parking, but for the time being you don't here. Long may that continue.

So far the only email I got back was "it's with the nurse" it has been six weeks and they still can not be bothered getting of their butt and doing their job. If you need information from them you'll be waiting for a decade to get it. Absolutely disgusted with them. If it wasn't for my doctor who is amazing I would have dropped them before now due to this appalling "service"

Everyone has been caring, helpful, attentive and professional, what more could you want from health professionals and staff? Above is the most important factors, however it will also be good to know that they have an after hours clinic that you can just drop in to, there is a chemist at the entrance, ground level, the waiting time has never taken very long for me, the waiting rooms are spacious, clean, large and well presented. Plus, there are several other medical and dental services available under the same roof. This place is great for New Lynn and the community at large.

I have visited CED (with my son) which is the Children's Emergency Department that is bright and friendly, with colourful chairs to sit on and nurses to match. The staff were all friendly and communicative from triage to consult with the doctor. They have little cars for the children to drive around in, lots of toys too. They is also a playground on level 2 with a radio station! If your child, needs to be admitted (for any reason) you know they will have the best care possible, without a doubt! Starship Hospital is a special place.

Nothing particularly stands out about it; it's a clean, modern facility, the staff are friendly and professional, and there's on-site parking out the back. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment and the staff were helpful with my questions. They also have their own pharmacy attached to the centre so you can pick up your prescription all in the same visit. Thumbs up.

All the doctors are friendly, and in my experience, they know their stuff. I've been seeing Dr Philippa Ho for a few years now and I'm so happy with her. There is no problem too big or small to have a chat to her about and she often goes the extra mile to make me feel better. The only downside of this small practice is that there are often waits to be checked in or to pay bills as only a couple of receptionists are at the front house running the operation and they are often swamped. But in my opinion, waiting in line or being put on hold on the phone for a few minutes is a small price to pay for good medical care.

I went to their practice in absolute agony and was told there was nothing they could do as the pain was due to my scoliosis. Having seen a REAL doctor at another practice, it turns out that they completely missed all of the classic signs of chronic cholecystitis. That's right, there's nothing you can do about gallstones because apparently theyre just symptoms of scoliosis... I would highly recommend staying as far away from these quacks as possible. Find a real doctor, not these shills that prey on the vulnerable.
