Greenlane Clinical Centre is a hospital…read more It is only for outpatients, so no overnight stays! Generally you come here for bloods, xray, baby visits, eye check-ups, physio, diabetes appointment, pre-screen for hospital admission, day surgery etc! They have a Muffin Break and a pharmacy! So you can have a quiche and get your prescription:) Clean loos, friendly volunteers to point you in the right direction and sometimes they have craft stalls! Local to Greenlane, Remuera, Onehunga, Orakei and Auckland City.

I'm disappointed that Muffin Break is the only option for food, I think health providers should be obligated to supply healthier options in the building. I've had mixed feigns about the medical staff here. Some are brilliant, others near useless. The appointment wait times for everything but blood tests have almost always been 30-60 minutes. Some of the staff seem slow but a long wait might also mean someone else is getting thorough treatment or support. So I don't mind waiting. The pharmacy is well stocked. The signage for each reception and waiting area is quite clear. But they could do with magazines from at least the last two years in the waiting areas.

Honestly beware - you will wait forever. I came on vacation here from California and unfortunately…read moresprained my ankle my first day here. Whoops. I waited about three hours for them to see me. There were lots of frustrated people in that lobby let me tell you. I heard one guy say he had been waiting for six hours. I asked a few times about the wait and what would happen when the doctor finally saw me and got lots of conflicting answers. Luckily I saw a nurse who was pretty nice and gave me some first aid stuff to wrap my ankle, but I didn't wait around to see the doctor. Thankfully, my ankle feels a lot better!

Patients and their families have rights that were repeatedly disrespected by Dr. Douglas…read more(Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery- Auckland City Hospital) during our experience. His unprofessional behavior set dangerous precedents that compromise both patient care and medical integrity. Key Issues: - Breach of Professional Standards Dr. Douglas violated basic patient trust and ethical guidelines. - Intimidation Tactics: As a senior clinician, he repeatedly dismissed families' concerns and created a hostile environment. - Safety Protocol Violations: He disregarded proper medical procedures, putting patients at risk. - Falsified Documentation: Discharge papers contained incorrect information, erasing critical post-operative complications. Why This Matters: A doctor who intimidates families, ignores safety protocols, and falsifies records has no place in healthcare. I share this feedback to warn others--you deserve respectful, transparent care.
