Sadly this place is off my menu list. Of the three times I have ordered food. ALL THREE TIMES THERE HAS BEEN A MISTAKE !! This time was classic. The order was made and charged for all items. Yet the order came without the 2 liter soda that was billed. The Calzone was plain not with ham which is how it was ordered. The pizza was lukewarm at best. So from ordering the delivery it arrived shy about 10 min of being an hour wait. The Delivery guy gave me the order and said thanks and treated himself to a nice tip without even asking if I wanted change. The soda came 30 minutes after the meal was done. Very sad and poor service. You should close and stay closed. read more

Ordered from here three times and the first was great. Second time, I ordered the baked ziti again because it was so good, however, they took down the order wrong and instead of admitting their wrong and fixing it right there, had to go through the blame game before they offered a credit on the next order. Um.. Ok. So after several months, I decided to order again because their baked ziti really is great.. A lot of meat and cheese with the pasta cooked perfectly. However, not sure if they were cooking clams or some seafood in the pan because the baked ziti tastes like some sort of shell fish. Clams, mussels, not sure. That's the best description I can give. Like seafood. From the other posts, ordered a chicken ceasar slice and the penne ala vodka slice as well and not impressed at all. I want to start off by saying that I know the owner very well and it's employees, I use to work there on and off many years. I'm a regular at this pizzeria since I work in the area. The owner has a great personality and always makes you feel welcome with a loud greeting as you step inside. Pizza is reasonably priced and it taste's great. I recommend the pizza and the chicken rolls. The Caesar salad slice or the Chicken Alfredo slice are also great if you are looking for something different. read more

There pizza is delicious but what keeps you coming back for more is there speciality slices. Will never order from this place again! We have a favorite pizza place already but decided to try a new place today, and went with Gigi's. I placed the preorder at 1130am because they weren't open yet and scheduled for delivery at 1245PM (I have a newborn baby and tend to place order ahead of time when I get the chance). At 12Pm I got email from Grubhub saying my meal is being prepared - meaning the restaurant picked up the order. At 1pm, my order hasn't arrived and I decide to call the restaurant to check on status. I told them I ordered on grubhub and the person picking up phone with the nastiest attitude said "I stopped grubhub for 1 hr, we are really busy here." I explained that I placed order at 1130 and they should have cancelled my order if that was the case. He said he'll take my order over the phone but they are veryyyy busy. He pretty much made it seem like he was too busy for my order. I asked how long will it take and he responded "we are really busy here." I pressed for an estimate and he said "30 minutes", I'm like okay it'll be delivered to my place in 30 minutes? He responded "we are very busy, maybe." Ultimately I cancelled my order because the guy was wayyyy too busy for my order and did not deserve my business. Here's some advice: next time you are toooo busy and need to place a stop on grubhub, learn to cancel the order and not pick up the order. And if all you wanted was for customers to call in the place order so you don't have to pay a fee, then why are you on grubhub? If you don't know how to cancel an order on grubhub, perhaps you should learn. Oh or did you join grubhub during covid-19 because you were desperate for any business? Whatever it is, please do better for your other customers. read more

I have to say that I've been ordering from GiGi pizza for almost 2 years and I am yet to be disappointed. The food is fantastic (Chicken Oregonata..to die for) and the service always friendly and outstanding . The owner adds character ,life and entertainment to an always excellent experience. I walk in they have two regular slices on a tray that looked horrible they have a fresh pie underneath sticking out 20% from the shelf so I can see it I say to the guy let me get a slice a regular so he grabs one of the slices that looks horrible that have been sitting there forever and puts it in the oven I then said the guy when he comes back to the counter can you please give me a slice from underneath the fresh pie he says to me no I have to sell this first I tell him come on man are you kidding me he says no you want it I say no way I take a picture of it and I come back the next day to speak to the boss and he says that I'm breaking the counter guys balls are you kidding me get lost keep your garbage pizza and you're sugar food and I walked out and will never go back again what a joke I would give this place zero stars but yelp won't let me I am sorry I don't have the picture anymore cause I deleted it from my phone I should've saved it and I should've did this review immediately but I could care less of the time and also the guy has garbage food low quality people that eat there have no idea what real food is so that's why he gets away with the place I used to go in there for a slice and that's it obviously never again Complete Garbage read more

Get their penne alla vodka!! Some might think penne alla vodka is easy and hard to mess up, and they're right. But this place really has the best penne alla vodka. It has a unique, sweet savory taste to it and it is so good. I also love their white pizza and their fresh mozzarella sun-dried tomato pizza too. One of the best, understated, pizzerias in the neighborhood! The staff, and owner are so friendly. The pizza is amazing, as well as other things off the menu. Personal favorite is the spinach pinwheel, and the buffalo pizza. They make everything fresh, and will tell you that. So don't expect a 15min delivery time! This has to be one of the best pizzerias I have ever been to in Queens. My sister in law still lives in whitestone and every time we swing by for a visit I make it a priority to order from these guys. They have the best mozzarella sticks in the world. They are homemade you can just tell. They aren't those frozen pieces of garbage many other places give you. For our main course we always go with a pepperoni pie thin and crispy along with a couple Heros.
