Recently ordered take out from here and the food was fresh and hot when it arrived. Everything was presented in a fancy to go containers with a sleeve with the restaurant name on it. The food def had flavor. I order a new chill chicken and let me tell you this is the first place I've been that spicy meant spicy. Loved it!! The only downside and I think this is most time places is that the portion sizes are small compared to price.

2 nights in a roll to eat with my coworkers while traveling…read more Went out with coworkers and one of them definitely loved food. Not usually my meal but I decided to try a British meal - signature mixed grill with chicken breast, pork sausage, black pudding, gammon steak (ham), and steak. Not leaving the fried egg out. Very interesting plate. Wish I had more vegetables but this is a good plate. Chicken and the sausage were my favorite on the plate. Also learned fries = chips, chips = crisps, dessert = pudding. #britishhfood #miltonkeynes #britishenglish Another full plate - coronation chicken which was marinated with curry. There was a hint of curry and the chicken was roasted well - unfortunately, not much flavor. Finished with the help of ketchup. Need more flavor, more salt would make a big difference. Another great night with my European coworkers! I probably drank my whole year of alcohol in this short trip. #miltonkeynes #britishfood #coronationchicken

Boxing day disasters, disappointing Booked table in October…read morefor the whole family for boxing day. Booked previously for 2 years but covid and lock down so couldn't go. Went in 21st December to pay the remaining and use my friends and family dis count of 15% as I was told you need to consume the food before they can discount it. So we added everything up and I added a drinks order aswell so i knew how much to take with me on the day. My self and family got there and got a shirty waitress who said there is no booking. She went over to the manger then rushed a table with out festive setting. Bare in mind the whole pub tables had festive napkins ,crackers and candles. 2 different table put together and one was shorter. Looked terrible . Waited half hour to be told the manager had forgotten our drinks order. Exhausted at this time. I let my daughter take over talking and ordering as I was near yo tears . I then got up to go to the toilet and had an ipad put in my face by the manager to say it stated we canceled went backwards and forwards with the manager like at a Christmas panto! Like I didn't cancle oh yes you did. The manager went to the till I went to my daughter to ask if we had an email and she said no. I went back to the till and saw canceled by host in red letters and a white line through it. I said you canceled it. Food was below average as my prawn cocktail was swimming in water. I showed the waitress after she ( never was given her name to me) had said everything OK for you ? I showed her and all she said was " the water must be from the lettuce and walked off. I showed her and all she said was " the water must be from the lettuce and walked off. All in all a complete disaster!! 2 days later an email came through stating the resurant had cancelled our table on Christmas day at 22.36. Also no apology, no thank you and was charged for a 12 year old dinner £29.99. Not sure that was right but no explanation. what a stressful day ! Would also like to say I have been visiting this pub for over 40 years and it's always been above average for food ,drinks and service Show less Date of visit: December 202. Still no answer as to why the above happened to my self and my family.

This is my second time here. We ate here the first time we visited Bristol and had to come back…read morethis time around. Probably our favorite fish and chips pub in all of Bristol. I love the decor- very mythical fishermen with posters for movies and wanted signs. They have an extensive menu, including alcohol and their cider comes in 500ml bottles. I've been told it's quite expensive in local standards but for the atmosphere it's worth it. I'd like to give a shoutout to one of the chefs. We had shown up here and the hostess had said they were not taking any one without a reservation. But there were open tables. Disappointed, we walked out. Standing in front of the restaurant, trying to figure out what to do, the cook comes out and says they will make room for us. Absolutely the sweetest. We were so stoked to eat at this place again. He even brought out tasty food out to us himself!

The local chippy may have won some awards, but the takeaway vibe isn't so enticing. So when you want a bit more of a dining experience this is a modest cafe style setting that's nicely decorated in the centre of town. We parked in the back streets on a meter. My haddock and chips and Sam's cod and chips were freshly made and really good. Our waitrees gave us friendly service and was attentive. We went in the early evening in early Jan and it was pretty empty.

Overall this was probably the best food I've had in Warwick sense I've been here all week. The only reason it's not a higher rating is I didn't feel like I was welcomed to eat there in the beginning. The manager told me "you know this is Thai food." Wasn't sure what he really meant but that wasn't needed.

Special, luxurious Thai food with great service…read more The decor is much nicer downstairs than where we got put upstairs, so book early if you want to secure a good seat! It's very romantic downstairs with beautiful lighting and not too many tables. I didn't enjoy the starters that much (Prawn and coriander dumpling on a lemongrass lolly stick and Trio of prawn, chicken and crab cakes) They both tasted like processed surimi, deep fried, but others at the table disagreed. I also had a special of Angus Beef Noodles in Broth, it tasted a bit like a strange version of pho, the broth was very rich and the thick noodles were okay, but the beef was dry and overcooked. It was a shame. My main of Plar Prik Tai Sod was described as fried whole seabass and wasn't how I expected as it had been filleted and had a thin batter rather than being the whole, crispy fish. It was very good though, absolutely perfectly cooked and came with delicious sweet basil and peppercorns. It wasn't spicy at all but the menu says you can ask for the heat to be adjusted depending on preference. I would do this next time. Other dishes at our table were Pork Belly slow cooked in aromatic spices, which was delicious and fatty but not at all slimy, Special Thai Green Curry, which was exactly like I've had in Thailand and probably the star dish for authenticity and Minced Chicken Kra Prao which I didn't try but which was apparently very good. We also had some Stir Fried Brocolli in Oyster Sauce, it was delicious and perfectly cooked with a slight crunch. We finished with a Lemongrass Creme Brulee which looked and tasted incredible. We shared between 4 as it was very, very rich. Delicious! I think what makes Art Kitchen so good is the atmosphere and great extras, such as their designer water jugs with their wonky base. I loved them! The food is very good too.
