Do not live here! They are marketing that this is a bird sanctuary. However, residents are more interested in turning this into a suburban utopia devoid of any real nature. Invasive plants are introduced to this conservation through the residents without care as to the effects. Pesticides are used in the supposedly protected areas to get rid of poisonous (to human) plants even though no one is supposed to walk back there anyway, bird hunters are often heard, and plastic is often seen strewn on the roadside or in the lakes. Community members are seen walking by the trash tossed on the side of the road without picking it up - I get this "isn't their job" in a sense, but it is since they wanted to build and live on conserved land. Houses are jam packed together and are not well made. It's clear the developer is looking to make the most profit possible with out care for quality or environment. read more

Nice community. As one of the original homeowners, I have now been here long enough to realize that nothing they promised when convincing you to buy in here was accurate. I purchased a home with water views of Macum Creek and paid a significant premium for my lot. Now, 6 years later the "woods" that were flattened to create the community are growing back and I am loosing my view. In a few years my view will be pine trees. We petitioned them to please just prune and maintain that area so we would still have the views we were "sold" on!! They gave us some environmental ***p and will do nothing. This is only one of many issues. Some moved to a cul-de-sac of custom only cottages. The builder pulled out and now they are putting boxy non-custom homes with the cottages.
