This is the first time I've had repair work done where the crew looked like they could be on one of those HGTV shows like Holmes on Homes. Here's why:
---Level of attention to detail. They spent a lot of time sanding and patching the concrete edges of the house/stoop/garage before they started pouring the driveway/walkway. They spent hours smoothing and shaping the concrete.
---Staff was friendly and extremely hard-working. Besides lunch, they seemed to never take a break.
---Accurate quoting. We made a change the day of the project which required a bit less concrete. Sure enough, we were charged for less concrete.
---Good equipment. They had a wide array of heavy machinery, power tools, and hand tools. Probably 30 different specialized tools were used to make sure everything was perfect.
---They did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves and leaving everything looking as it was before they started. They carefully kept the sod they had dug up around the edges and replaced it after they removed the wooden forms.
All in all, it went perfectly. This is the third time I've had concrete work done and these guys were the best yet. read more
