Seth was remarkably patient and worked with me to meet my requests on every last detail (size, aspect ratio, position, ink). (Embarrassingly, I asked him if we could move the template we transferred onto my skin 5 times for one tattoo, having to wipe it away and reapply it. It would have driven basically anyone crazy, but Seth was laid-back and understanding throughout.) The price was also very reasonable. As others have mentioned the private studio was clean and seemed well organized. Honestly, vibe at the studio is not something I care about (I just want a great looking, safe tattoo), but it did have a nice feel. In my case, I wanted something very specific (and relatively simple), rather than something creative from the artist. I got exactly what I wanted, and it looks perfect. Since this was my first, Seth also explained every step of the process to me as we went. In terms of safety, I saw all his new, packaged needles. (One thing I didn't verify was how he sterilized any reusable parts. ...something you could do yourself if you're inclined.) I'll definitely return to Seth for any future tattoos.

I looked at a lot of people's work here and there and then just tried to imagine myself with a tattoo. Had myself talked out of one for this reason or another for the past few months. I happened to go to Zita's Instagram page and saw another person's script tattoo and decided that if my daughter could deal with the pain of getting one, so could I. The business is very clean and they take the best precautions....I probably could have fell asleep, but my hubby came to hold my hand....in the end though, I really didn't need that because Zita really put me at ease with this being my first tattoo! It took less time for that because of what I wanted. They give you aftercare instructions. Which is also explained to you. This was my first tattoo with colored ink. They share the space with the lower level. Which is a different business. The tattoo shop is on the upper level. Since it's advertised that Rawan does the piercings, I was surprised that it was someone else and Rawan was not on site. I wish I had known a few important details beforehand. There's a $25 deposit required to book, which was fine, but when we arrived I learned that the only earring options available for piercing started at $100 per earring--so over $200 total. Nowhere on the website or during booking was this mentioned, and there were no more affordable choices. I think that's something families should be aware of before going in. Given the cost, I expected the earrings to be very high quality, but they left a bit of residue on her ears like you'd get from cheaper jewelry. About a month after the piercing, one earring fell out and the hole Immediately closed, even though she hadn't been touching them. When I reached out, I was told I needed to buy another earring ($100) but they could wave the $25 piercing fee, which made me very uncomfortable given the earring was low quality and fell out so easily. Another thing to note--the piercer had difficulty getting the placement right. She had to redo the markings on my daughter's ears five separate times before actually piercing, which made me nervous. Overall, the lack of transparency around pricing, issues with placement, and quality really disappointed me. I'm sharing this so other parents can go in with full information and realistic expectations.

I was told the titanium jewelry was the best especially…read moresince my skin tends to be sensitive, i agreed and chose my jewelry which i was told was going to be $180 just for the jewelry, apart from the $25 fee i had already paid for the appointment. i got it pierced and everything was well and i did notice the bar a bit long, i thought it was normal since it tends to swell and needed space. i purchased a spray from here to clean it as well so another $20 there, i ended up spending $225 in total for a BELLY BUTTON PIERCING! some days go by and i noticed it start getting very red, i followed all instructions so what could it be? today i had enough. i couldn't even sit and the pain was very bad and i began feeling a sharp pain around my piercing. i called rawan to make sure i wasn't crazy and if it was normal, to which the moment i stated i was having issues with my piercing, she hung up on me. i tried calling back thinking maybe it was an accident, no response. I got up and went to a tattoo shop near me, as soon as i lifted my shirt and showed my piercing the piercer there gasped and told me that my piercing was done a little too low. i do have the right anatomy but the piercing should've been done a tad bit more up and she also stated my jewelry was migrating and it was too big and heavy for the way it was pierced. she gave me 2 options, take the jewelry out and let it close so i can get it redone properly or get a new sized bar to see if it heals this way. i didn't spend over $200 for nothing so i chose another bar. she sized me down to an 8mm bar and changed my jewelry on the spot for me, i feel lied to and scammed. i was intormed no piercing or jewelry should cost me over $200 let alone one done incorrectly. here are my pictures of the day i got it, the jewelry i got it changed to and the size difference. i feel so much more comfortable and i can finally sit now. im so disappointed and would love my money back, but clearly this person only cares about the money.
