I only kept going for Deric PTA. However, when the "Doctor of Physical therapy, straight out refuses to assist. I find a new practice. See after 15 yrs in nursing, its obvious, who sux. That would be the management "Sara" Who runs out of the door at 4:30 daily. Not surprised they have. Little to no staff. The Management frankly sux. Setting up my appointments was quick and easy, and I found the facility clean with good equipment. All the staff I encountered (Andy, Sam, Max) were always helpful and friendly. My assigned trainer, Addison Huck, worked with me for all eighteen of my appointments. I found this beneficial because Addison would adjust my sessions based upon my progress. Addison is always super positive. which was especially helpful during the first three weeks when recovery is tough. ProActive (Addison) got the best out of me over these six weeks, and I strongly recommend them.

I didn't mean that as a brag, but to emphasize my belief that Dr. Gatteau is one of the most positive influences on my running career. His adjustments were huge for a temporary issue, but he helped me develop a process to approaching my sport from a recovery & wellness perspective that actually helped all areas of my life. I came in the summer of 2013 before my senior year of High school with issues with pretty substantial pain, inflammation, and tightness. He made some pretty important adjustments for the time. But he also taught me how to stretch properly, and to relax and naturally drop into a stretch. Using your parasympathetic nervous system vs. forcing into a stretch (sympathetic). This was all in 3 appointments, in one week when I was on vacation, with a huge impact on my career. Before meeting him, I was "injury prone", and at the time I was stressed, and worrying if I'd be able to complete my last Cross Country season in one piece. Instead I was All-State in Illinois Cross Country, ran a 4:15 mile in Track, and got a Division I scholarship. As I reflect on some of my happiest experiences as an athlete, I'm thankful that Dr. Gatteau helped me develop the relaxation process that allowed me to perform at peak levels.

He called me while he was on the road to learn about my problem and recommend someone that could help me right away. The chiropractor he recommended was excellent - the best I ever experienced. He provided a service similar to Dr. Gatteau, combining chiropractic, PT & massage. Dr. Gatteau's kind-hearted help, while he was on vacation, was truly extraordinary, especially since I wasn't a patient and he knew I was visiting from Texas and couldn't become a patient. It's clear that Dr. Gatteau deeply cares about people!

PTs are booked out 5-6weeks in advance, so if you're new or if your PT leaves and you get shuffled to another, be prepared to wait and wait or get shuffled to another PT, not ideal for consistency. I think it's reasonable that if you're an established patient with a PT, there should be an opening within 2 weeks to see them. It shouldn't be, get an eval, and then we'll put you on a cancellation list and if not, we'll see you in a month or more for treatment. If I hadn't already started with them, I'd go somewhere else. Wouldn't recommend until they can hire more staff or get a better system of being able to balance their patient loads.

I've been working with one of the PTs, Jen, for a couple months now. I originally came to ASPT with nerve pain from being too sedentary during COVID life. I had several rounds of dry needling which helped immensely, then I worked with Jen to build up some strength and flexibility. Jen has explained every step of each process of my care very clearly and is genuinely excited when I show signs of progress. The atmosphere at ASPT is that of a company which takes care of its employees, who in return take care of its patients. I will definitely return here next time I am in need of some PT.

Dr. K and team were able to get me in quickly (I live in another state and was traveling to Fort Collins for the weekend) and I was back at almost 100% range of motion within a few weeks. They promptly sent me out and made me wait for a doctor who told me I had to get a negative Covid test. Then started spouting propaganda to me and wouldn't even check my medical background. I called and asked if it had to be a specific test, if it could be a rapid test? They said yep any negative test would work. Took a test, took it in and they said that the test I took wouldn't work! Even though I had called and they told me any test! No specifics! Worst staff I have ever had to deal with in a medical facility! I would not recommend this facility to anyone!
