Beware of fees! When my elderly Dad's credit card used as the payment method expired for his GetGo gas payment, instead of notifying him that the credit card expiry date had to be updated for his new card, like any other normal vendor would do, it was booked as invalid and he was charged a fee of $50. Women's bathroom has had a big waterleak for quite a while and the corporation does not seem to want to fix it. This is a potential health issue and a slip and fall issue. The local Health Department report of Oct 9 '24 (available here on Yelp for review) states that "sanitation" was one of the several fails on that date when they were rated the establishment. This review is for their car wash "Wet Go". I now have a car wash membership...is this adulting?? I had never been through a car wash in my life until I got my new car. Everyone told me to take it through the carwash during winter time so the ice and salt didn't affect my car. I decided to do the unlimited car wash membership at Get Go in Waterworks since I saw nice cars go through it! I wanted to make sure my car wouldn't get scratched, but I figured it would be okay since so many luxury cars were in the line. The "Showroom pass" is $34.99 / month and you can go as many times as you want. Once you join, you get your first month free. 2 months for $34.99?! The cost of one car wash is $18. Deal! It includes the Showroom Shine, Tire Shine, and Hot Carnauba Wax. I signed up for the pass online and the man working brought me out a barcode to hold up in the window when I go through. There is one line for regular customers and one line for unlimited pass customers. I love cutting the line and getting this boujee car wash. There are clean towels after to wipe down your car if you wish. There are also vacuums that are free to use. read more

Um, it's a Getgo, calm down people. Typical set up for a Getgo in the area. Ample pumps, bigger inside area than most which means this place is always packed and busy. Convenient? Maybe, if you live in this area, but not so much when you are just stopping here to shop. There are many places along the way when you are on the way there, or on your way out. No need to make a special trip here. Not much else I can say except traffic is horrendous to enter or exit here. There are at least three ways, maybe four, and it's quite tricky. read more

Nice people and a lot of gas pumps, this place is usually busy and hopping. The car wash does a descent job on my suv or sports car even with wide tires. Once washed, I go straight to rt. 28 and car is dry in 5 minutes. read more

The food selection looks pretty good at this convenience store version of Giant Eagle. However, the check-out situation is terrible, for which I lowered the rating. Let me explain. There are three attended registers, which had a long line the night we stopped to pick up some supplies on our trip to the area. There are also two self-service registers. A quick way to pay and go, you might think. However, the self-serve registers work only if you have a Giant Eagle frequent shopper card. A large sign warns you of this fact. It also tells you that an associate will be glad to help you if you do not have a Giant Eagle card. You might think that the store associate can issue you a card on the spot or supply a store-owned version to allow you to check out. No; not at all. Their version of help is to tell you that you cannot use the self-serve registers and have to go to the the attended register. Not at all helpful and a poor way to run a business. We were blessed to have a nearby shopper scan her cad and allow us to use the self-service register. I have posted a copy of the sign, which is not very truthful, or perhaps not very helpful. read more

Giant sale for giant eagle As a gig worker in my city I put at least a $60 tank of gas in my car every day and I probably stop at the getgo locations throughout greater Pittsburgh 3 to 4 times a day. Being in my car using my smart phone being plugged in is a big deal it's a necessity. Just yesterday I purchase a table charger in GetGo a titanium sell Tronics heavy duty USB cable. When I got in the car through any of this in my bin. At my next break I look at it and I realize that got one that had the wrong USB port on it it had the lightning cable but not the USB port. Which is what I need I go back to get gallon since I don't have my receipt and I don't ever take them I try to save a tree they told me I've got a call Jane eagle even though it hasn't been taken off of the cardboard it's still zip tied on brand spanking new. You would think somebody like a manager would be nice to someone comes in and spends the money I do but I guess we live in the age maybe I have to pay for people to be nice. I'm really going to start rethinking where I spend my money especially the day and age one monies getting more scarce by the day. It's on a busy corner so watch pulling in and out but the gas prices were low. Inside they have a lot of hot food and soda options. Their made-to-order salads are really good! You order from a touch-screen kiosk. They have sandwiches, too. You pick everything you want on your salad, including meats, cheeses, veggies, and toppings. It prints a ticket, you take the ticket to check-out to pay, then the food prep folks call your number, and you have your custom salad! Mine was very good, fresh, and exactly as I ordered it. Prices are really reasonable, too (like $5.49 for a salad with chicken on it). This is less than Giant Eagle's pre-made salad with chicken (it's $6.99 there). Quick and easy. To call it a convenience store would be an utter disservice to a 24-hour sandwich shop with wifi-enabled café. They even have computerized milkshake-stirring machines. No, I'm not kidding, you use a touchscreen to tell the milkshake-robot how thick you like it. Just you wait until that technology gets to the adult toy industry. My ex-yinzer wife sent me in -- poor little ole me, a Florida boy who's spent his life in the Shallow South (that's Miami, Tampa, and Atlanta, far from the sticks) -- to get Snyder's chips and iced tea in a paper container. First of all, I didn't know the H in Snyder's was invisible, so I failed to pronounce it like Schneider's. Oops. Second of all, GetGo doesn't sell Snyder's chips, they sell Giant Eagle chips. Oops. I frequent this location because it's close to work making it very convenient. There are a couple other gas stations around this area but I always stop here. The store itself is very clean throughout. The service is great demonstrated by friendly cashiers and counter reps at the ready to assist with a smile. I think it's worth mentioning that they have a variety of grab n go items smack dab between both entrances. While I don't take advantage of it often, I like if I'm running behind and forget to grab my yogurt or fruit, I can stop here, get it and go. I always get gas here with my major fuelperks I redeem. Their coffee is AHMAZING!!! I always get their hazelnut coffee, with hazelnut creamer, and sometimes I go and sit in their cafe area. Ahhhhh my morning gets off to a good start. Use your Giant Eagle card, and they will surprise you with an "Oh, it's free". HA!! Love that!! Sometimes when I can't make it out there, I brew my own coffee, but it will NEVER taste like theirs!! I like how it connects to the Waterworks mall. After my bolt of energy (thanks to the java lol) I happily go on a shopping spree. Then when my caffeine high comes down, I regret everything I bought HAHA!! read more

I like their subs a lot. The best part is that they have 3.5 inch subs. We'll stop for a late dinner after going to a movie at Waterworks Cinema and after eating that small popcorn, I'm not forced to get more food than I need. Since we go later (around 9pm), it's usually empty inside but the parking lot is always crowded because of the gas station. The staff is friendly and they are pretty quick at making the food. Everything comes quickly and things are wrapped well. I've been to another Getgo where the subs and wraps are falling apart, but this one, everything stays together so you don't have to reassemble your sandwich when you go to eat it. I usually get the grilled chicken or turkey lunchmeat, but their specials look good too. Right now they have a brisket special that sounds tasty. I think in general Getgo is better than Sheetz and these are so convenient since you can use your fuelperks from grocery shopping. read more

This GetGo is really convenient on Freeport Rd but easily accessible from rte 28. Its right on my way to work, so I can get hot coffee in the morning and cold drink in afternoon, and of course gas anytime. Service is quick inside, and there are plenty of pumps outside. read more

This rating is only for the car wash at this location. Been through twice with my SUV and both times the rear of the car was completely unwashed. The automated part is supposed to take care of the whole car except for the rear. The attendant is supposed to wash the rear manually. Different attendant both times, both did an equally half-assed job on the rear of the car leaving it filthy. Will never get my car washed here again. read more

This Getgo location is pretty nice. I've gotten gas here often, but only went inside a few times. Today, I ordered a build-your-own salad inside and this salad was a lot better than some I've gotten at other locations, even though someone forgot to add my pepper jack cheese lol. The store is neat and well organized with an express type section up front where you can grab basic items without shopping the entire store for a quick convenience. The cafe is clean and a nice area to eat and relax. This location has plenty of gas pumps and usually on the busy side when I visit. Overall, it's a great place to stop when you need a convenience store, gasoline, car wash, ATM (surcharge-free), lottery, lunch and much more! I really like that all Getgo locations offer free air. I never got any food before from Get Go until August 25, 2015. It was late we just came from a gala that only had finger food and was still hungry, so we stopped at Get Go on Frankstown Rd. As a gas station this place is pretty good...I mean how do you rate a gas station? When I need gas they have gas available, so it does the job. Where this puppy really shines is it's abundance of everything you could possibly need. I am a breakfast sandwich connoisseur and this place makes a quality breakfast sandwich. They also have awesome subs and F'real milkshakes, which if you haven't had one you have to try them. They always exceed my expectations. The real magic of this place is that whether it is 4am or 4pm you can walk out of there with a breakfast sandwich, a sub for lunch or dinner and a F'real milkshake to wash it all down. I even have picked up a beanie baby or a dvd for my little one while just stopping by. This is a great, clean and efficient Getgo. My only gripe is when it gets really, really busy (like around 8am or noon) sometimes they will be rushing and make the sandwiches a big sloppy but other than that, two thumbs up for me! read more
