After the first two quotes I was able to find info on tree service my mom had used 10 or 15 years ago and find a number. They were no longer in business but the former owner still answered the phone, and when I asked if there was someone he could recommend, he said he was in the truck with Nick, who had taken over his business and an appointment was set to get a quote. It wasn't instant or next day, but was within reasonable time, and with no knowledge of the amounts of the other quotes, it was radically less than the others and not not a great deal more than my mom paid 10 or 15 years ago. I okayed it on the spot, and the work was scheduled to be performed within a reasonable time after. Communications were clear and they responded promptly when I responded with questions after their texts. I had thought ALL the prices seemed a little high, until a veritable squadron of crew and equipment arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time on Friday (6/6/2025). Crew was uniformly courteous and they went to work immediately. They worked with speed and efficiency. There was no standing around gabbing while one guy worked, or standing around talking period. Three tall oaks with some dead limbs and other limbs overhanging the house and electrical wires trimmed, and then the crepe myrtle in the back. Bucket truck, extension clippers or power saw on extension pole, standing on back deck to trip the crepe myrtle or climbing up the tree a short distance with apparent ease, I was impressed with their speed and efficiency and noted they still took care to observe safety precautions, and the whole job, meticulous cleanup, on-the-spot, surcharge-free bill payment by check (3.5 percent surcharge for card payments), thank-you's and hand-shakes and all done in about 90 minutes. Sorry my review may be longer than it took them to do the work, but I was impressed. Based on my experience: Highly recommend.

He emailed me a detailed quote, which was pretty reasonable. It took a few weeks before they could get to the job, but when they did, they did a great job. Very professional. Cleaned up after themselves and did not damage the fence or house. They email you the bill which you can pay online. Note, there wasn't a debit or credit card option online, but I was able to pay using my bank routing information.
