BUYER BEWARE! I rented this venue for a fall wedding around 1.5 years in advance. To make a long…read morestory short after several attempts to contact the owners to no avail we were given a passive agressive response and continued to have our questions ignored. We had given this venue a $750 deposit, so I believe we are entitled to find out simple things, such as the size of the tables. Yet, the owners felt different and cancelled my contract after 6 months and left me scrambling to find a venue. There was no explanation for the cancellation and they refused to answer my emails or pick up their phone. Thus, we resorted to trying to contact them on FB. After posting on their FB page we received contacts from several brides dealing with the same situation or complaining how their wedding was handled by the Mother and Daughter running the place. In fact, I actually contacted the better business bureau to help resolve the complaint, but to no surprise, they didn't respond to that complaint and have been given a "F" by the BBB. Please save yourself the headache this venue will give you.

I absolutely LOVED Carmen and her daughter...Can't forget Carmen's dad who took down, hung up, took back down, hung back up things until it was perfect(Thank you!!!) They were so helpful and made my day absolutely perfect. They set everything up, and moved everything when it started raining. Throughout the whole process, I was texting and emailing Carmen and she graciously answered every one of my questions I had and not once was ever rude to me in any way. I kind of felt like family with them. They are all just the most sweet, gracious, humbling people I have met. Throughout my day, Carmen would come in and just check and see if we were satisfied and if there is anything I needed her to do. I just can't explain to you how wonderful it was to know that my venue was 100% taken care of in every way possible. If I had to choose all over again, I would choose Diamonds & Dust every single time. Please, do not go by the review below this one because I can 100% guarantee she is not telling all parts of the story. Thank you all for a wonderful day that I will NEVER forget. **I looked at every dang barn in Indiana and none of them included what Diamonds & Dust offered. And the best part.. the sincerity and genuine care that this is going to be the best day of your life no matter what they have to do to make it that way...is completely priceless. If you are looking for a GORGEOUS wedding barn and wonderful owners to work with.. this is your place!

She offers a couple of options as far as wedding packages, we opted for the package that includes an engagement shoot as well. So far we've loved our photos. Renee and Jeff are so much fun to work with, she has creative ideas, and a great eye for the details. She has an organized itinerary ready for the wedding day, however in our case, we had a couple people running behind, but she made everything work out just fine. She went above and beyond most photographers, in my opinion, as she even made a special trip beforehand to check out our venues for ideas. Weddings are so expensive, but we thought her packages were very reasonable for such excellent work!

FINAL UPDATE - As…read morementioned to Suzanne I have no interest in continuing to banter back and forth as its getting us nowhere close to a remedy. Also, I would have NEVER waited 5 years before trying to reach out to her, so I'm confused as to why she continues to deny the fact that I sent her two emails immediately following our ceremony. If you review our pictures versus her other work, Stevie Wonder could see that the quality (lighting & clarity) was horrible. Suzanne stated that she is a professional and has been in business for many years, so why didn't she acclimate to the conditions of the church and/or rainy day? Quite simply I was requesting either a refund or the raw photos so my husband could see if he could modify at least a few photographs from our special day. Again, Suzanne doesn't seem interested in rectifying this situation hence my reasoning for continuing to stand behind my initial review. Finally, I say if you are hiring Suzanne to take your photographs for any special occasion proceed with caution if the conditions provided aren't perfect as she doesn't seem to be capable of acclimating (i.e. weather, lighting, clarity).

Suzanne was incredibly flexible with our schedule and requests for her to travel to our desired location. My two year-old would tell you that Suzanne is so nice and fun to work with! She made multiple attempts to capture the specific poses, backgrounds, etc. that I requested while adding her own professional touch. She is a perfectionist in that she wants you to be completely satisfied and will go above and beyond to attain that satisfaction.

The day AFTER the flowers were to be delivered I got a call saying that the phone number they had for him was invalid. I called them back right away and STEPHANIE stated it was their policy if the phone number they had didn't work then they don't deliver. At which point I calmly asked if they couldn't get a hold of him this time this time to call us back right away (as to not go ANOTHER day without him getting his flowers). Then STEPHANIE tells me she will "just refund your money". We did not yell or curse at this lady about her missing the anniversary date, or at the fact that she had 2 weeks prior to the delivery date to check the phone number, or the fact she could have dropped off the flowers at any given point (my dad lives on MAIN STREET - they had to drive by it at least once a day) but she was willing to throw her arms up in the air and not deliver the flowers AT ALL! I'm sure my tone was not friendly but after all that why should it be? DO NOT UNDER THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!! The only reason they got 1 star was because Yelp wouldn't let me publish the review without giving them 1.
