From Judith Johnson, Ben Johnson to Lizzie Olmsted, it was just the worst experience and a very sad reality when I think about mental health providers. Horrible communication, problem for appointment, no assistance with provider/doctor/therapist......just a lot! I reached out to Judith (never heard from her) reached out to Ben j (more than once) and he did replied while after and "apologized" explaining how the clinic was working on "fixing communication" but it never got any better. No one ever called me even though I left MULTIPLE messages and the reply was an email from Lizzie that fixed nothing! I am sure not all providers are the same, but my experience was garbage and unacceptable. If you need counseling, struggling with mental health THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!! If the administration, office manager, CEO can not assist with something so simple...just reassures this is not a place that will think about anyones well being (knowing how important and delicate is when someone is struggling with mental health issues and reaches out for help). I come in with my chaos and she and tangles it and help me to view my troubles in a different light. She has a very gentle approach and actually listens and remembers my story. What's actually impressive is that aside from the first visit, she doesn't write anything down while you are talking. You never have to wonder if she's actually listening to you. She helps you to see both sides of the dilemma and really calms is the beast in you. It's a very safe place to cry, to yell, to laugh, to unpack all of your baggage. She is more like talking to an old friend with whom you have a great trust. From the minute you walk through the door, it just feels right.

Three weeks later I did get my phone call at the scheduled time, and was told that no family counseling was available. Basically, I waited four weeks to be told I could not be serviced. Very disappointing, very unprofessional.
