The comedian was funny and completely appropriate for family. We sat in the balcony and could see perfectly and our seats were comfortable. Maybe st importantly, childcare was provided! There was one room for little ones and another for bigger kids. I came back to a happy boy and everyone be there was so kind. We felt very welcome and would definitely consider coming here again!

I did not go to this location, but to their South location (10227 State Route 48, Centerville, OH…read more45458), which is not on Yelp - it's fairly new. I originally met a group from this church at a community event where they had a booth set up. I am not Methodist (I am Baptist), but for some reason I was just drawn to them. They were bubbly, friendly, and so outgoing. I took their information, and went on my way. But for 2 weeks I could NOT stop thinking about that group I met. So finally, I said well...I'll just visit. See what they're all about. I have never felt more welcome at a church than I did this morning at Christ United Methodist. They are ultra low pressure, and are genuinely just happy you came. I've tried many different churches in the area, and have never had people go out of their way (and especially without me asking) to show me around and chat with me. After the service was over, the pastor took time to speak with me about some questions I had (as I really had no idea what Methodist was all about). I didn't feel like he was rushed or dumb for asking questions (on some heavy topics, I might add). He was very friendly, open to answering all my questions, and said he hoped he saw me again next week. This particular church is not progressive, but they're not ultra conservative either. Anyone from any walk of life will be eagerly welcomed, as the pastor says this church is simply "Jesus centered." I appreciated the warm, welcoming environment and friendly faces. I also enjoyed the more contemporary music from their band. They are a medium sized church, and offer the standard morning beverages (coffee/tea) in their kitchen area. It was a wonderful, refreshing experience, and I'll definitely go back!

My brother attended this church and I seen how his life changed drastically and I wanted the same for myself. Since I have been here I have noticed a huge change in my life and the others that attend the church as well. I know the reason I changed is because of the Lord and the wonderful teaching. I have never been to anything like it and I have never learned SO much about the lord and the Bible.

I was going to church, but not getting much out of it. I was doing my Sunday, then nothing at all, thing. I "wandered" for 40 years. Then a couple years ago, God led me to the Oasis Church in Middletown, OH. Yes, I watch on line... But I live in the mountains of Colorado and churches are far and few between. Oasis Church IS the real deal! They serve Meat and Potatoes to those who sincerely want to hear the Truth and true meaning (definitions included) of God's Word. They don't serve "milk and cookies" so you just want to roll over in your bed and take a nap, instead of pursuing a growing and meaningful relationship with The Father. Oasis Church is for those whose heart is yearning to unite with His Heart, for His Revelation, for the True Knowledge of Who He Is, for guidance and direction of Holy Spirit and a way to worship Him humbly and completely. Oasis Church is not for the faint of heart, but for those who seek complete healing... of body, mind and Spirit. It is for those of us who will totally set ourselves aside to open our eyes and ears to His Powerful Messages to direct our paths, especially during this time! It is not about us. It's not about putting on a show. Oasis Church is ALL about GOD! I'm so thankful and blessed to have found Oasis Church... HIS Timing IS Perfect! (I just wish it were a little closer, but I always feel His Spirit, Who lifts me up, whenever I connect on line.)
